Nothing new but it was an enjoyable watch none the less.
It was very easy to root for ML and FL and their happiness.

The chairman of a big company is being played for a joker by a half wit.....multiple times.

Need a new name for this drama.

so, you are ok with a guy seducing daughter of his enemy to get revenge?
The daughter is completely innocent and yet we would all be ok if the man just manipulated and seduced her to achieve his goals and then just do nasty things when the goal is near...

If this was a revenge story, we would say the guy is bad but his revenge is justified even if the means to to the end was wrong. That basically would be the end of it.

In so far even I am wondering if we are watching the same drama especially the last 10 episodes!

The whole premise that him being son of bad person and his sisters being daughters of bad person deserve what happened to them is wrong.

I have read on these very forums where numerous people would not like if the FL chased after the ML. The numerous posts calling out for FL to have dignity or not to love ML too much or not to choose ML over her career or other things.
her revenge is justified. heck, her revenge is more justified than her love. We are all glad that she took her revenge and not choose love. In the process she destroyed ML and his sisters - so be it. We want her to be strong and go on with her revenge.

On the other end, the expectation from ML is to just keep loving the FL no matter what she does. ML, irrespective of his circumstances should be absolutely stead fast in his love for the FL and never waver even for a second. If he does, he does not deserve the FL.
In this drama, the ML remains a tool to prop up the FL and nothing more.

This in a nut shell has been the underlying theme of most of the Cdramas I have watched this year.
The FL should barely love the ML and her own things and interests and goals are the top most priority, while for ML the FL is the top most priority and must sacrifice heaven and earth to be with her.

Whenever you watch a drama with underlying themes like above, you get a feel that the Cdrama FL don't want a strong partner but a doormat who they stomp on at their whims and fancies.

Either make it a love story where love triumphs all obstacles OR
make it a revenge story.

All we got was a half baked one.

Watching last 10 episodes it's really hard to believe ML would ever consider being with the FL ever.
If the drama writers wanted the happy ending shown to us, the last 10 episodes don't make sense.

After everything the FL did, the ML was just supposed to forget and forgive and do a happy dance with her?
Would any person with iota of dignity or sanity consider being with FL after what she did to them?

It's not a dig at the FL.
It's a dig at the inconsistency of the story and characters.

Just swap the genders and imagine if it was the ML entering into FL's life, seduce her and use her to get his revenge.

And then imagine what transpired after the 30the episode with ML leaving the FL in lurch and going into full on revenge mode with all the other scenes factored in.

Got to feel for the FL.

The guy she is married to, does not love her, is manipulating her for her property, is responsible for her grand-dad dying, actively sabotaged her love, has a mistress and a child with her.
Compare that to ML, who is with a woman who went with the lies to be with him. She loves the ML and is pretty much willing to sacrifice anything to be with him.

Irony is that the ML is the angry one.
Wonder how the FL will behave once it is revealed how vile her current husband is. Will her desire for vengeance be as forceful as the ML?
After all she is the worst victim of the drama by far.

The writers have pretty much made a mess out of this.

Is FL at fault - Yes, she still mingles with people responsible for it.
Is ML at fault - could be, he chose to chase a skirt instead of protecting his own family.

ML lead comes across as a wuss simply because he still has not come to his senses even after such bad things happen to his family.

Guilt by association does not cut it. He and his sisters are innocent does not deserve what the FL and her associates put them through.

FL revenge becomes all consuming.

Let us be honest ML and his sisters have nothing to do with what happened to FL family. If guilt by association is a thing, then for the crap FL pulled on ML by manipulating him, he should also looking for revenge on FL & by association her family as well.

The thing about revenge plots is to tread a fine line so as not to make the person taking revenge, in this case the FL a complete Douche.

At this point the ML can look back and say, 'yeah, she screwed me over. Let me see what I can do to take my revenge on the FL who screwed my life'.

Leave it to Cdrama folks to write a detestable FL.
Kudos, you guys have created another shitty FL.

Don't like how she lead 2 guys on and kept score cards.

Imagine if a guy were doing the same to 2 girls.
What's worse is both guys are absolutely nice guys.
You simply don't pull that kind of crap on nice people.

FL is nice and this particular aspect does not match her balanced personality.

Kissing and talking at the same.
not sure how that's possible.

SeRa keeps crying about how she loves the Chairman
And
At the same time she keeps making babies with other men.

Really hard grasp such love.

This would be her second child she has not told the child's dad that he is the father.

This should have just been a pure revenge drama.
That way it would be very easy to root for the FL because she deserves her revenge.

The romance with the ML just makes the FL look really bad.
What ever sympathy her back-story garnered vanished due to her disgusting manipulation of the ML.

It should have just stayed as a revenge story IMO.

Last 10 mins of episode was fantastic, it makes you look at the whole episode in a whole new way.

This drama is getting better and better.

Anna still has not got any character growth.

She still keeps harping about taking DD to US.
Anna want's DD to do the same thing she did by leaving the people she loves dearly.

SeRa would claim the baby is YG's.
Hope they don't drag this for more than a few mins. It would be insane at this point for YG and DD to separate again.

Did the ML walk naked to the bathroom after the one night stand?

That's what it looked like and the FL was like a deer caught in headlights in that scene.

My respect for the ML went up a notch.

Damn, SeRa is pregnant.
We know where this story line is going.

YG not remember those few months now starting to make sense.
SeRa will claim the kid is YS's and force herself in & this will play out for few episodes.

Hoping it does not play out with way.
With few episodes left and many unresolved plot lines, this one does not stroke any interest at all.

SC joined Anna in the pit she dug and willingly filled it with crap. They can now swim in it for a long time.

the FL does not show 'true' concerns for the ML.

Still way behind and have not seen latest episodes but she has been playing the ML like fiddle.

Point being the ML in this drama is the same as any other Cdrama ML.
Completely simping the FL and crawling to her no matter what she does.

this is no where near to western style though.
This is at most a very very mild version of western dramas.

This drama is geared at adults though, since the topics in 1st episode are a bit heavy.

In fact this is no where as edgy as some of the korean long running dailies or Cdramas.

Each kind of drama has it's place as long as the characters and story are interesting.
