What an absolutely heartbreaking movie, I didn't go in expecting a happy coming of age movie thanks to the reviews I skimmed over beforehand, but I really was not prepared. Many might find this unrealistic because of all the problems thrown at this group of friends with no clear solution or justice in sight but sadly that is the reality more often than not. Especially when corrupt/the wrong people are in a position of power and desperate people are easily taken advantage of/manipulated when pushed into a corner. Sangwoos friends betraying him hurt but what really stung was Yongbi having been changed and silenced by the decisions of his peers. To see a spirit like that broken was really saddening. From the beginning he had nothing but good intentions and was just a sweet kid trying to do the right thing but no good deed of his would go unpunished.
A refreshing movie reminding us of what the reality of life is sometimes.

popcorn, pastries, green tea pocky but nothing beats a giant pile of frieeess

I cant wait to be able to find it subbed, it sounds interesting :/
