have anyone here watched "High-Rise"? American movie adoptaion of JGBallard book? this story has a lot similarity with that book. a high rise and hierarchy in the floors. thanks for the review I am going to watch this :)
I am watching another eye candy korean drama and an Amercian tv series at the same time but this is the most antisipated one among them. slow and engaging story and wang kai ;)
drama has taken a whole different story line from novel but still the live version has it's own charm and I've enjoyed it so far. just about characters; JiBai is a lot cooler in novel and Xu Xu is a total nerd there. I loved it if they have been portrait as exterem as the novel.
would have been this killing them to style her in a better way? even her cousin has a better tase in dresses. ah her fashion is bothering. and what is with the stupidly high high hills? they are not even able to walk with them, are women were this shoes for work? these are for events and parties not for 8 to 10 houres work shifts!
the husband and all the people around her are so crippy. how they create a fake history for their own benefites and yet abuse her and make her feel ashamed all the way??!!! and why she is so obedient...is it hard to talk back and say you have kidnapped me, stole my youth, my love, my sex life my son's father. and call the police? what these Korean dramas learn to their women? to be abused and feel deserve it? one of the means of media and entertainment world is to educate citizen for a better healthier society!
