Very similar to Love In Sadness. A mix of both would've made for the perfect show. The villain here is lacking compared to Ryu Soo Young performance. Because his performance was so great, LIS didn't need to rely on the mystery for too long. Let Me Introduce Her drags the mystery for so long that when the pieces are complete, you might be a bit disappointed.

How did she write all those great pieces of entertainment and then Bel Ami. It boogles my mind...

I'm smiling from ear to ear while writing this. Finally someone appreciates Queen of SOP as much as I do. I feel like this drama is so underrated. Though it would probably not be on my top ten dramas of the decade, I'm happy to see it getting some love.
I wholeheartedly agree for Secret Garden, if only for the sheer icon status this drama has. Last month I was browsing my Youtube subsciptions and saw the thumbnail for a new video. A guy wearing a blue tracksuit with big, white, tacky stars on it, and a very obvious dark sideswept hairpiece. Everything one the thumbnail was off and yet so recognizable. And I immediately clicked on it and had a bit of a laugh. This drama has created a lot of those clichés that we roll our eyes at nowadays LOL

I watched it while it was airing, but I was curious to read this article and see what expectations the Jojo had when writing it.
The article is very engaging and well made. Unfortunately the drama didn't live up to it, nor to the expectations most watchers had for it. I wish the plot as thought out as the production, but I really feel like the writers just dropped the ball on this one.

I'd like to see a good middle management boss who's not part of the main cast. We're used to seeing bosses as uncaring jerks or leery perverts. I would like to know about nice, supportive bosses for once.

I have an example for a female character that is beyond those stereotypes (A and B) and I'm curious if anyone agrees or disagrees with me: Ahn Se Gye from The Beauty Inside.
I liked that the character was supposed to be that beautiful, graceful starlet whose name was cited in many a love scandal (so she had a sexuality) and yet still remained extremely popular (and rich, so financially powerful). She also was criticized for her big mouth, but acknowledged that it was also part of her charms.
At the same time, she's seen crying a whole lot and she has a load of insecurities that she just takes in stride. By the end of the drama she has not changed except for, she has learned how to love herself and others, and how to accept happiness.
That's my reading of the character, I would be interested in what someone else might have thought.

I dropped the show and don"t intent to pick it up again, but I was amazed at how much depth you found in this drama that I did not, but most importantly the cues (visual and contextual) that you picked up and the way you explained them (easy for me to understand).
