I don't think it's about the actor. With so many things happening at all times, it is hard to keep in touch with the drama emotionally. Even the director talked about this in one of the interviews that the biggest challenge for him is to get the audience to be able to approach the drama on an emotional level as it is hard for this type of drama.

To me "do you wanna die with me? Let's die together" and "Sorry the doctor is too busy today" were the highlights of the episode. lol.

yep. But I think she is not his half-sister. She is the daughter of the king who ruled with the present king before the three kingdoms were unified. The king married her mother after the death of her father for political reasons. I don't think they are related by blood.

I haven't watched this yet, but the part where he is a broke lawyer who helps people sounds like Gong Shim. Also, he is a chaebol family's long-lost grandson (again, similar to Gong Shim).
