Ah, thank you so so much!Your words really touched my heart ~And no, I wouldn't change this for an office job…
Yeah, doing so would be such a waste... But, on the other side, being a warm-hearted "Ugly Duckling" and working in a big conglomerate, perhaps you'll be able to find your hubby as the arrogant CEO, so keep on watching rom-com k-dramas for inspiration, hehehe :)
Such a beautiful and inspiring article! It's a really rare and heartwarming story from a young, promising student! Many-many congratulations for being inspired and choosing to follow a difficult and challenging humane calling rather than a well-paid office job (like most K-Dramas depict as dream-jobs! - your mistake for not choosing to watch a cheesy rom-com ~) I wish all (or at least some) of my students were as mature and motivated as you! From the bottom of my heart, all the best of luck in your life and your career! Dearest @Ugly Duckling, you are indeed in the process of becoming the most 'Beautiful Swan'!
Ms Yoon is probably the most powerful and charismatic female lead of this year! Smooth and delicate, yet determined, competent and, if needed, a badass! Slowly but steadily she is taking over the male police kingdom...
So far a smooth, easy-watch rom-com, with some typical, yet tolerable cliches and a main couple with pretty good chemistry and very comfortable together. I didn't know that Nam Goong Min can be so smexy!!!
the female lead in "7 first kisses" had brain and some attitude. This female lead is just stupid and I feel embarassed…
That's exactly why this drama is only for eye candy and fangirling!
Ooops… I hope I won't be attacked by the righteous misogynistic male posters that sarcastically debate between feminist or anti-feminist ideals, while currently keep on watching what they mock...
So... In half an hour they managed to include a pretty solid critique on corporate work in Korea and how it can…
Totally agree with you! :) And if I may add the monologue of Judge Han Se Sang (so emotional, so real! - Sung Dong Il was superb once again) depicting the un-delivered love and affection, the frustrations and guilts of working parents towards their (even more hard-working) kids, this episode was amazing...
If you've watched "7 First Kisses", you know what you get: don't expect something amazing! Just watch it for the eye candy - it's short enough to do that...
Very interesting article and nicely done!Totally agree with your list! :) One more infuriating and totally unreal cliché: main leads that are very successful professors, doctors, lawyers, prosecutors, chaebols, etc. are always beautiful, slim and very young - or very poor and unlucky, but still beautiful, slim, well-dressed and have the latest mobile phone, as you mentioned!
I'm really curious how they'll manage to deliver a 'satisfying' ending, 'cause everything is so broken: broken families, broken characters, broken dreams, broken loves... …and so many people really need a comforting hug...

Always waiting for them - and Mi So's ponytail - to appear!

The team chemistry and bromance are awesome!
Jo Seung Woo and Lee Dong Wook' co-starring will be very interesting, for sure!
So Ji Sub is magical, as always! He never disappoints!
