I watched WTS because the premise of the drama was interesting. However, the story isn't well written or directed. The dialog is lacking at times. I am still uncertain what the writer was trying to convey with the God, reaper, human with abilities, regular human interaction. I think it might be that no one is infallible. Also, there wasn't much screen time for the relationship of the main leads and it put a damper on the romcom part of the drama. There was no chemistry, but I wonder if that isn't because they didn't spend much time together on screen to show the chemistry. For the first time, I will say that this drama needed more episodes to tell the stories of all the characters and bring out their personalities. I felt pretty much nothing for the characters because their stories felt rushed and they didn't really connect the way the writer probably thought they would. Overall this drama failed because of the writing.

I know people have a problem with Kim Hyun Joong. I think he is a good actor. No, he's no So Ji Sub (who could be?) but he does just fine. He played Joon Woo as a kind man searching for something. Kind of like #Keanu Reaves in that he makes me like him even though his acting isn't perfect. Ahn Ji Hyun plays Kim Sun Ah as a cheerful, struggling woman who is searching for happiness. I have seen all of her supporting rolls and was pleasantly surprised to see her as a lead. Too bad the first time is this drama. Im Gyo Jin as Myung Woon was also good. At least his story made sense. The supporting characters also had characters and story lines that were better than the main leads. I wish I could have connected more to these great actors.

The music is good.

I will never rewatch this.

I don't recommend this to anyone wanting a deep connection and a happy romcom. However, it isn't horrible. I don't regret watching it.

This is an interesting action packed drama. I like dramas that have conspiracy theories that involve corporate greed controlling the government. Maybe because I don't believe it is just a theory. Anyway, I think the down fall to this drama is that there were soooo many people involved in the conspiracy. Call me an idealist, but I would hope that most people would choose to do what is right over money. I don't think everyone believes that money and power are happiness. There were other reasons for some of the conspirators that I bought into (we can't post spoilers so I can't go into it). The writer does well with a consistent plot and I thought the suspense was well paced.

I think what made this drama passable is the acting. Without Micky, Park Ha Sun, and So Yi Hyun, I don't think the drama would have been as good. I think that it is really hard for an actor to make the viewer feel for the character when there is so little back story. The actors had to draw the viewer in while the character was going about his/her business. These actors did an outstanding job of making me feel for each character. There are also several really good veteran actors that I enjoy and they did not fail to deliver.

I think the music was pretty and appropriate.

I won't rewatch this.

I think that if you like suspense/action dramas, then you would enjoy this one.

This is the longest drama I have ever watched. It is also my 100th drama. YAY!!! I'm in triple digits. LOL

OK...this drama is definitely a makjang drama. It takes everything to the extreme. There are birth secrets, revenge plots, crazy off the wall characters, controlling parents, etc. I like the over the top story at times and then other times I just wanted to scream. The side stories of each of the family members are good also. The Kim family is just crazy from beginning to end. I can't go through the entire plot with out spoilers, but just know that it is totally ridiculous in a good way.

The acting is good also even if it does seem a little soapish. Eugene is great as Chae Won even though I didn't like her character that much. It is ok to be selfless but not to the detriment of your own happiness. Anyway, Eugene still played the character well. Lee Jung Jin was the highlight of this drama as Se Yoon. His acting is stellar and I liked his character a lot. The other actors are also good especially Shin Goo as the family grandpa. He held this drama together. Jung Hye Sun's voice was grating as she played the matriarch of the Kim family. I have seen her in other dramas and never found her as annoying as I did in this drama. I really hated her character through out.

Even if you don't watch this drama, you should check out Jo Hyun Ah's Living is Not Living. It is a beautiful song.

I will not rewatch this.

If you like makjang dramas with slightly over the top acting, then this is a drama that you should watch.

The Equator Man is not for the soft hearted. This drama goes hard from beginning to end. Even the good guys aren’t that good. I personally love it!!! This drama has murder, attempted murder, pain, anguish, and revenge…all the makings of a deeply disturbed drama. The story basically revolves around a woman that we barely even get a glimpse of. Her love for an evil man that misunderstands her begins a chain of events that rock the world of all those that come in contact with him. There is even a beautiful romance in the midst of all this sinister chaos.
There are some transition problems between the teenagers into adults…it makes the time spacing a little confusing. The story isn’t one I have seen before. It has some of the fundamentals as other Korean dramas, but they are used in a different way.

Im Woong Jae and Lee Hyun Woo do an excellent job of playing the teen male leads. Their parts are crucial to the drama. If they had not portrayed the feelings of the characters in such a way that draws a person into events, then this drama would not be as good as it is.

Uhm Tae Woong plays the adult Kim Sun Woo while Lee Joon Hyuk plays the adult Jang Il . Tae Woong portrayal of a blind man is a little off, but I still think he did well in depicting a man that has had a tuff life and has been hurt many times and turns to revenge as a method to sooth his madness.

Joon Hyuk plays a man that has done something unthinkable and has slowly gone crazy because of it. On the outside he looks perfect. He struggles to keep that image and to even try to believe it himself, because inside he knows the truth. Although some people may disagree with me, I believe his character has gone through as much pain as Sun Woo. He just handles it differently.

Lee Bo Young plays Ji-Won, who is the love interest of both male leads. She is also Sun Woo’s voice of reason. She does a lovely job of playing a character that is essentially good, but understanding of Sun Woo’s need for revenge.

Im Jung Eun plays Soo Mi. This character is horrible. I think she is even worse than Jang Il . She may not have committed a crime, but her actions are of a person without a conscience. She is certifiably crazy.

The actors that play the supporting characters do a good job too.

The music goes really well with this drama.

I probably won't watch it again, but I enjoyed it the first time.

This movie shows the dregs of society. There are gangsters, organ harvesting, drugs, child abuse and violence. If you are a person that is easily shocked, then you might want to skip this movie. I loved it. Tae Sik is a character that is afraid to love. His character has many deep layers of emotion and Won Bin portrays them all very well. The little girl Kim Sae Ron who plays So Mi is perfect. I hope that she keeps it up and I get to see her in many more dramas in the future. The bad guys do a great job too. I really hated them. The actions scenes are awesome. If you like action packed movies with a touching plot, then this is definitely a movie that you should watch.

Honestly, I think that I'm just too old for this drama. I haven't read the manga nor seen any of the other versions of this drama. So, this review is based only on watching this drama. The only dramas that I have really enjoyed that include a girl dressing as a boy are Coffee Prince and Sungkyunkwan Scandal. It really isn't a genre that I enjoy. Take all of this in to consideration while reading this review, because if you enjoy those things, then you would probably like this drama more than me.

The story isn't original and actually I found a lot of it frustrating. Should Jae Hee leave, will she leave, will some one make her leave. Blah Blah Blah Even the end just drove me insane. We aren't suppose to post spoilers so I will just say that there were many other solutions for the ending. It is all just so convoluted that I didn't enjoy it. Some of Jae Hee's reasoning to me is very selfish and I don't get it. I just wanted it to be over. On another note there are some really sweet and funny scenes through out that I'm sure all the rom/com lovers will enjoy.

On to the acting which I thought was really good. Sulli did a fair job playing Goo Jae Hee, but I wouldn't for a minute have believed she was a guy. I like Shinee, but I wasn't sure how I would feel about Minho's acting. He did really well playing Kang Tae Joon, he has great facial expressions and made his character sincere. I adored Lee Hyun Woo as a child actor and he was great playing the teen in Equator Man. It is good to know that he won't lose any of his acting ability as he grows older as proven by how well he played Cha Eun Gyeol. Actually, I thought that he made the drama worth watching. I hope these actors continue and I see them in a drama that I can actually enjoy in the future. I really enjoyed the side characters also especially Kim Woo Bin, Julien and Lee Ah Hyun.

The music was pretty good especially Taemin's song.

I won't rewatch it. I barely made it through the first time.

I guess I would recommend this to younger people or people that like young rom/com dramas or people that enjoy girls dressing as boys. Overall I didn't think it was a waste of my time, but I didn't really enjoy it.

Regardless of the hype DOTS received, I will try to write this review with my normal analysis.

I don't get it? So, the plot is that dating a soldier is really hard because they could die? Maybe the writer wanted it to be a kind of slice of life thing. I'm not saying there aren't a lot of cute and romantic moments and not just with the lead couples. There are some nice supporting characters and I usually don't enjoy tons of extra characters. This drama is the exception. Without the extra dynamics of ridiculously good looking guys running shirtless, star cameos of Lee Jong Hyuk, Yoo Ah In, and Lee Kwang Soo, Song Sang Hyeon chasing Ha Ja Ae, the adorable kids they helped, and the earthquake emergency, etc., then this drama wouldn't have a story. I did like the story line of the "far away friend" the best. I'm not saying this drama is horrible or anything. I actually enjoyed watching it for the most part. I would have rated it higher if episode 15 had been cut from the drama.

Of course the acting is good. Everyone did a great job. My only complaint is David McInnis. Is he not like from the US? Why does he talk like a robot that can't speak English? He has got to be one of the worst actors. Hell, Song Hye Kyo did a better job of speaking English naturally than he did. I think she did great speaking with Ri Ye Hwa in English. I will stop my rant here.

The music is really good. I almost gave it a higher score for that alone.

I will never rewatch this.

If you want to watch a drama with no rhyme or reason, then this is perfect.

Romantic comedy is really not my favorite genres, but this really didn't feel like a romantic comedy. Not that there wasn't romance or comedy, but the story felt more real. It was like I was watching the lives of these people instead of watching a drama. The story seemed very realistic. There are people in this world that are traumatized to the point of wanting to cut contact so they won't be hurt. I'm sure many people could empathize with Go Dok Mi and that is why this story is so good.

The actors are out of this world. I am a fan of Park Shin Hye. I thought she depicted the character's pain and ambivalence perfectly. Then there is the man that pulls her into the world with his quirky charm. I don't know what other actor could pull off this over the top cuteness as well as Yoon Shi Yoon. I was so excited to see Kim Ji Hoon back in dramas!!! His portrayal of Oh Jin Rak/Oh Jae Won was well done.

The other actors were also cute. I enjoyed the couple of the webtoon manager, Kim Seul Gi and Oh Don Hoo, Go Kyung Pyo the best. They were just too cute. The up and coming Japanese actor, Kouki Mizuta also did well, but there was little screen time for him, so I'm not sure how he will do in the future.

The music was ok...nothing stands out.

I probably won't rewatch this.

I definitely think that if you enjoy romance, then you should watch this.

As I'm ending this...I really didn't know how to rank this drama. I REALLY enjoyed it. It has all the typical story, but isn't typical at all. It is unusual with a message to love yourself. Everyone has a complex and the trick is to work through it and move forward instead of letting things hold you back. I don't usually like over the top acting, but this was too cute. I totally love "goth/horror" girl. I guess her story was about how you should be careful what you say to people because words hurt. There will be at least one character's story that a person can relate to.

I don't even know what to say about the acting. It is over the top, but it is obvious that it is suppose to be. Oomasa Aya is gorgeous...it is kind of funny that her character, Sunako was put down because of looks. I wonder what her voice really sounds like, because it seemed exaggerated. Kamenashi Kazuya's character, Kyohei had just the opposite problem. He is really cute and his acting was the best out of all of them. I liked the other actors too. The little boy is adorable. The guy in the cafe always wears great t-shirts...if you watch this, then you should totally make sure to pay attention to that. :-)

The music is good.

I would probably rewatch this at some point.

I recommend that everyone watch this for the romance, bromance, and deep meaning wrapped in a silly, fun package.

Beautiful Gong Shim is a cute rom/com with a little angst in it. Mostly I rated it lower because of the last few episodes. I don't understand why the writer turned the cute rom/com of love into angsty crap. Where is my wedding? Any of you that know me should know by now that I am not a rom/com fan and love me some birth secret makjang and if people die in the end it is okay with me. However, I was really into this cheesy romance and wanted the ending to be more spectacular cheese. I was so disappointed. The story is okay, but the character development was horrible. The writer changed these two quirky, lovable people into stereotypes. In the end they barely had the characteristics that made them so unique.

I have never seen Min Ah in a drama. She was totally adorable as Gong Shim. I liked her character a lot. The other actors were good also. They are what made the dram worth watching. Nam Gung Min as Ahn Dan Tae was totally funny a far cry from his usual psycho roles.

The music is good.

I will never rewatch this.

I recommend this drama for the funny cuteness if nothing else.

K2 is a revenge drama and I mean everyone is out for revenge...everyone. It has action, romance and secrets that would make you think it is awesome, but there is something missing. I'm not really sure what that something is, but I think part of the problem was the boring politics and the constant switching of sides. Plus, I don't know if all the extra characters were necessary. The upside is the characters are written with flaws and darkness. You are just waiting to see who is going to literally blow up the other first. LOL The best thing is the ending as everyone seems to get what they deserve.

Ji Chang Wook is good at playing action roles and doesn't fail as Kim Je Ha. He has a way of pulling you in to a character regardless of the story line. I was fully invested in his happiness. I like Yoona, but I didn't feel for Anna like I thought I would. I'm not sure if that was her acting or the writing. I was more worried for her through Je Ha's character. Song Yoon Ah as Choi Yoo Jin stole the show. I seriously didn't know if I loved her, pitied her or just hated her. She and Jo Sung Ha as Jang Se Joon are just excellent veteran actors.

The music is fine.

I won't rewatch this.

If you like revenge dramas, then this one is for you.

The story line for Wanted is interesting in theory. However, it lacked something. I didn't feel the suspense or the apprehension one would expect in a story where a child is kidnapped. It is a very slow build up to basically nothing. It is a sad story where the "bad guys" aren't what they seem and the true evil is revealed with no consequence (something they plainly say in the end is that no one will be punished or admit fault or give an apology). I don't think that is a spoiler because the ending leaves a lot to be desired.

The acting is pretty good. Kim Ah Joong did well as strong and vulnerable Jung Hye In, but something was missing. I didn't really feel anything. The other actors are good too.

The music is fine.

I won't ever rewatch this.

It isn't that this drama sucks, but it doesn't live up to it's potential.

Local Hero is an OK drama. It was hard getting through the first 5 episodes, but it got better after that. The story is interesting and for the most part well written. Beyond being a spy/suspense drama, the neighborhood togetherness and supporting cast stories are more enjoyable. It is weird for me to write that because normally I feel like a lot of characters and side stories are unnecessary in a drama. This time they ARE the story. The whole point is to protect the people and it was nice to get to know the people that are being protected both good and bad. I also liked the dynamics between all of the characters and the character development. It ended as I thought it would.

It was interesting seeing Park Shi Hoo in a drama after his big "scandal". I have always thought he was cute and a good actor. Nothing has changed. Lee Soo Hyuk was excellent as cute, conflicted but loyal Choi Chan Gyu. The other actors are good too.

Yoon Tae Young as Yoon Sang Min stole the show. I know he was a bad guy, but I was totally infatuated with him from beginning to end. He is pretty much the only character that I cared about. I think it was worth watching this drama for him alone.

The music is good in this also.

I won't rewatch this.

If you enjoy community and action dramas, then I think you would enjoy this.

I watched this movie, because I read an interview of Yoo Seung Ho where he says that he doesn't think he was that good of an actor when he was younger (LOL Younger, when he is only 20 now). Anyway, I decided to go back a few years and check out his acting for myself.

I thought that Yoo Seung Ho and Kang So Ra were really good. I have a soft spot for Kang So Ra anyway and I was pleasantly surprised to find her in this movie. The story is fairly simple and suspenseful. I love Kang So Ra's character Da Jeong. I like when the female lead is smart.

I think that most people would enjoy this movie.

The story line is really well done. The bromance between the guys is phenomenal. It is definitely a teen KD. However, I am far from being a teenager and I still enjoyed it. The ending was well done because it left it to interpretation. The characters really grow in this KD while staying true to their original selves. There is of course angst, but it is not so over played that it feels contrived. Sometimes when there is angst in a KD, the characters act…well, out of character. Not in this one. The music is good and I found myself humming them after watching an episode. The background is gritty and seems like a natural setting for the characters. My only complaint is that I didn’t get to see more of L, which is why I started watching Shut Up in the first place. However, I did enjoy the rest of the actors and of course they are cuties. That drummer (Lee Hyun Jae) is a hottie with a great smile!!! Over all I would say this a KD that you don’t want to miss!!!
