I've just watched this on Viki but it said it was a movie :s and it played as a movie :s
they have 2 versions on Viki and YouTube .... someone RE-EDITED the scenes into Chronological order and put them all together into a movie....
--->>> That just Destroys the Artistic quality of the Editing and Directing of the film and the telling of the narrative !!!! ....
--->>> it is better to watch w/ all 9 episodes !!!
I agree w/ the "Prodigies" list 100%... ..... they r Better than most established actors and... will ALL be SUPER-STARS !!! ..... all have Great looks and Great talent !!!!
P.S..... imo , Kim So-Hyun and Kim Yoo-Jung are both more talented than both Yoon Eun-Hye and Park Shin-Hye .... (as much as I love Yoon Eun-Hye)....
Also ... Sung Jun may belong to the first category , b/c he is Slowly making a name for himself .....
- "If she did marry and is living in happiness, what then?" - "She can't live in happiness. Not…
Except that Dae-Gil is just saying that to put on a bravado facade of revenge .... in reality , when he thought she was married to Tae-Ha and had a kid , he only wished for her happiness ... unlike Heathcliff !
But ohhhh the pain he felt !!! .... and the disappointment !!! ..... brings me to tears that for 10 yrs he planned and bought land and house to live happily ever after w/ her , when he finds her !
are the main leads siblings so confused. you can spoil it for me.
Explanation below is shown in the 1st or 2nd episode I believe :
Not siblings!... Eun-Nyun is the love interest of Dae-Gil , and later the love of interest of Tae-Ha ..... Eun-Nyun and her brother were slaves in Dae-Gil's house ... Dae-Gil's aristocratic father objected to their love , so her brother burned the house and killed Dae-Gil's parents, and thought he killed Dae-Gil .... --->>> So Dae-Gil became a slave hunter in order to find her - he claims it is for revenge , but it is obvious , he wants to find her b/c he is still in love w/ her .... and.... Dae-Gil is also assigned to find General Tae-Ha, who is now a runaway Government slave.... While Eun-Nyun runs away from an arranged marriage, she runs into Tae-Ha... so they r now both on the run ... being chased by Dae-Gil.
... It is an awesome drama .... the fights, the music, the romance, the story, the acting , etc.. etc.. etc.. are all GREAT!...... ...... and Dae-Gil is one of the best characters in Drama-land , especially as portrayed by Jang Hyuk ! Enjoy!!!
Despite all the cliches and the annoying loud music ....
--->> it will leave an Indelible Impression w/ all its Emotional Impact !!!
.....ooohhh...the FEELS !!!
I've seen it 3 times , and probably will again sometime in the future <3<3<3
Yep, because of Mi Young running away with Daniel, I so enjoyed this one so much better. So wish they had shown…
btw, I don't think u r giving away any spoilers ... it's known she will marry him ...and... all rom/coms have happy endings... is anyone surprised ???....
besides 99.9% of K dramas and probably most T-dramas also , we know who the main couple is before the show starts ... and we know they'll end up together (if no one dies that is ).... That's why I am liking C-dramas more and more.... refreshing and not just fit into a formula like most K-dramas.

I don't remember if Joe Chen played Xin-Yi as pitiful or not....but I know I was Not annoyed by her portrayal , as sometimes I am w/ some actresses...
u know what I mean... the ones who when they want to express sadness or loss , all they do is pout , or cry every other scene , or cower , and take pitty-patter steps to seem pitiful and cute... ughhh...
so Joe Chen and Jang Na-Ra are perfect as nice , sympathetic yet not pathetic ...
But I remember I did not like the husband in the T-version...and I don't think his love for her made much sense .... whereas Gun's Love for Mi-Young made a lot of sense ....

I did like the characters on the island very much !!!.... and u may be right about the side characters... This was my 1st T-drama and I saw it long ago , but the island characters and the secretary left an indelible impression...
I strongly disagree about "Comparing Mi Yong and Xin Yi"... you like that Xin-Yi is "Pitiful".... but .... I was very impressed w/ Jang Na-Ra and how she portrayed Mi-Yong...... instead of playing a pathetic weak woman ...
she portrayed the weak , meek , obedient , naive , doormat "Post-It Girl" as a soft-spoken , super-nice , sensitive and sensible woman ... she gave her DIGNITY !!! .... so she was sympathetic... but Not Pathetic !!!!
I very much prefer post-it girl in the K-version.
I really like those super-Ugly track-suits in "Secret Garden"...
...... it is one of the details that make this show Wonderfully Special ! ... despite having a ridiculous plot line and lots of cliches.... it is the little details like this that make it such a Joy to watch. XD
I really liked some aspects of Lee Jun Kai minus the Stockholm syndrome.
I don't think it is Stockholm syndrome.... b/c Before he entrapped her, she loved him and knew he was vengeful....--->>> she knew Before she married him that he killed her father... .... she married him anyway b/c she loved him......
but that was the one thing I didn't like in the story : she was very weak for a long time, even when he wanted the divorce , she asked "why?"..... only towards the end did she regain herself !
Thanks for the article.... I will watch some of ur recommendations!
also .... BEWARE !!! .... for "Le Jun Kai"... there is a version where someone Re-Edited the scenes into chronological order and put them together into 1-1/2hr movie !!!...
Do NOT watch That Version !!! ... --->>> it takes away from the Artistic Value of the Editing and Directing of the show !

Yes... he should definitely add a 'T' to his last name ...XD
I wonder what you'll say about him.
