She's really good in I"s, already got the acting chops. I shouldn't be surprised because she seems to have experience being a child actress. With the right roles she will go places.
Probably the best opening sequence and ending scene in a movie. It's just brilliant. Romance is not loud but it's more sincere than most romance movies these days.
It's always singers, band members makes the best transition to actors unlike idols. I don't see them struggle probably because they value their art more than their image. Another great example is KOM_I. She can also act.
I watched it raw cause I can't wait. Suzuki sensei to me is the best teacher themed jdrama but I know tons of people who don't like that show, it's clearly not for everyone so no need to apologize. This drama is similar to suzuki sensei cause it's also psychological. If you expect this drama to another GTO or GOKUSEN you would be disappointed. There's a bit of comedy here but not enough to be tagged as comedy. The acting btw is great so far even Nagano Mei is impressive in the first episode.
Not as good as the original. The acting is not that great and the pacing is bad too. They also change something here like naoki is not an aspiring manzai artist. I don't know which version is closer to the novel but him being a manzai artist makes the ending scene much better in the original. Kamenashi did well in my opinion but takayuki's portrayal is still better by miles. I'm not saying this cause I'm a yamada fan but if you watch the original your opinion would be the same. I also don't like tsubasa honda's acting, but that's a given she's never been a great actress anyway. The casting person is to blame here, she's a HUGE miscast. But the 2006 version is a masterpiece anyway and the strength is in the story so I still give this one 8/10
