It's not perfect - it has flaws - but I still enjoyed it. The question I have is - how on earth could Park Do…
It's only a guess but it kind of looked like HeeJoo forgave him for everything he did while SE was away? After serving his sentence, I guess SE wanted to give him a second chance since he knew first hand how terrible things must have been like for PDJ?
I agree that it was a terrible move from PDJ's side to involve HJ after he found out the truth. Based on his reaction at the hospital, I guess may be PDJ was in a state of denial where he tried to believe that our SE deserves to get punished too for benefitting from the kidnapper's life? To him, our SE was a leeche profitting off his brother's murderer's life? It was easier to blame SE than accept the fact that he wasted all his time and resources?
Because 1. WHY IN FREAKING EARTH does he suddenly care enough about his father/formerly believed to be his grandfather…
What were the loose ends in the murder plotline? Genuinely curious since from what I recall they covered it pretty extensively almost from the point they introduced Sang Woo to the HBC team🙈
This drama exemplified all the tropes I despise. What idiot spends three years married to a woman he ”loves”…
But wasn't the whole point of the drama on how HeeJu overcame her mum's abuse, brought Sa Eon back to his senses, ALWAYS overpowered the kidnapper, and despite everything, she did overcome all her fears?
Even during their 3 years together, despite SE's cold behaviour, she still dominated their relationship. The only thing that was lacking was his emotional support.
Heeju can't be classified as a damsel in distress since she never gave up on herself even when times were bleak (yes she got kidnapped several times but she saved herself most of the time).
As for the doormat comment, it wasn't like she was blindly following her mum- she had her reasons. And by the end of the drama she even managed to draw a line with her too- took control of their relationship.
Her treatment is not that fictional in some cases. There are way worse parents and spouses in real life so HeeJu's experience and her way of overcoming her abuse is quite refreshing honestly
This drama would’ve stretched over 16 episodes if Baek Sa-Eon had siblings. Imagine all the family drama lol
Technically we did get sibling rivalry every time Chairman Hong antoganized papa Baek whenever he praised SE/ everytime papa Baek locked horns with SE 😉
The way he whined at his exasperated wife after the dinner meeting scene was hilarious🤣
If you really think about it, it's kind of sad how the only 3 people Sa Eon trusted with his life either misunderstood him (PDJ and HeeJu) or had to abandon him (his guardian)🫠
i visit this page sparingly so i suddenly saw it drop from 9.0 to 8.1, then i researched and found out the ending…
Personally i find ep 12 is more easy to watch if you consider the fact that the main events happened within 1 month and understand that the MC faced a life time of trauma that can't be expected to magically heal within 2-3 weeks? Their actions are more understandable then.🙈
Also it helps if you try to keep in mind of what we know about the ML's past as a professional / requests he made to the FL in the past so that certain scenes will make more sense.
Also the main reason for the mass rating drop was due to a misunderstanding with 1 line (10 seconds barely) and isn't really related to the episode itself.
The MC's story had a satisfying ending if it helps :)
Haha idk if I should 🤣 or 🤦♀️ at some of the posts ngl.Did you see the one with YYS's story highlight…
Ahhh that's so sad.
If they didn't like the drama they could have just kept quiet at least out of respect for YYS at least since he clearly loved the time he spent working on WTPR.🤷♀️
Oh dear both YYS and CSB insta comments are mess No it’s not about Palestine -Isreal It’s about fans shipping…
Haha idk if I should 🤣 or 🤦♀️ at some of the posts ngl.
Did you see the one with YYS's story highlight for the OST? Even saving the official OST cover image within his highlight has a secret love-stagram meaning 🤭
- Married from the start but "get together" (confess+kiss) end of episode 7.- Separate for around 6 months in…
They reunite mid ep 12 and the focus after that is on the couple so we didn't get a last minute HE.
The separation essentially happened because the ML felt guilty that his family was the reason why his beloved had such a traumatic life. His love for her is boderline obsessive to the point that even the smallest thing hurts him.
The execution of the scene might be a little off depending on who you ask but if you consider the ML's character and the fact that the storyline in the drama only covers 1 month, his actions make sense. The FL also gets a chance to make the ML see sense so it kind of hits the mark.
The way they concluded the drama was satisfactory IMO. I loved how the last scenes focussed on the couple's cheeky side considering how cold and stand-offish they were in ep 1. The ending quote also is satisfying since we come full circle (you'll understand what I mean once you watch the episodes).
It is a reason, but frankly even 2 extra episodes in Argan wouldn't have changed my mind.If anything, it might…
I agree with you because even for me it made a lot of sense since I actually accidently read most of the Argan arc previously.
I was more surprised they added it at all because of the budget than anything else 🙈
The issue with Argan specifically is that in ep 1, they mentioned Argan during the last bits of Heeju's kidnapping so most (even me) might have been too focussed on HJ's reaction over the "corpse" comment to concerntrate on SE's radio speech. Eventhough HJ and the reporter discussed about Argan before she left, it isn't enough time for the scene to "sink in" to our minds (if you get what i mean)?
I even saw some fans were trying to understand why CSB's video message was played last from the batch they had during YYS's fan meeting today 🙈
During the first watch I was like "damn why is the dad sooo insecure about his own son"
After seeing the spoilers -> "ahhh...that's why 🤣🤣🤣)

I'll give it a chance ☺️

Awesome- hope you enjoy the episodes :)
I don't mind shippers usually but some are just ultra delulu to the point they forget that the actors are real 🤦♀️
Did you see the one with YYS's story highlight for the OST? Even saving the official OST cover image within his highlight has a secret love-stagram meaning 🤭
Something about the chilling mum, pathetic dad, as well as the psycho son and grandfather clicked together 🙈
Watching Heeju's mum being pushed from her self made pedestal felt satisfying too🤣
We only have game related content from YYS's program (Whenever Possible).
Ah yes I recall the Cha Cha Cha actor's scandal- that was just 🤦♀️
