I had this issue last week.π« π« π« Last night finally started Love Scout and it kind of fixed my drought…
It certainly is binge worthy since I watched all 4 episodes in one sitting...didn't really feel like a drag since all the main characters are interesting
Hey got your notification! The fact that SW wasn't aware of a fourth missing kid seems highly suspicious considering…
I'm glad they froze the rating. Last week was terrible. Idk if I'm being too liberal/ naive or if people just refuse to do even minimal research before attacking something π€·ββοΈ
Idk if you have watched Zootopia but the movie totally reminded me of this issueπ
Back to the drama- Mama Baek's logic truly is baffling knowing that she actually is an expert in psychology (albeit it's criminal psychology). I mean if they can trust the family secretary with their secrets, couldn't she have used her contacts to find some kind of trustable medical help like you suggested? Real SE might have never had a bright future but at the very least he could have had some kind of hope if things were different π«
1D villains will never run short sadly π But I guess it makes sense since fleshing out villains can be risky as they could over shadown the MC (Ryu Shio from SGNS is the best example). We even see that with Park Do Jae. We should ideally hate him for trying to murder Heeju and for continuously dragging her into this mess even after finding out spokesman SE didn't murder his brother but instead we rejoice the fact that SE and PDJ reunited πππ€
Yessss!!! 007 is the perfect way to describe SE and PDJ's vibe π
WTPR's OST is π₯π₯π₯ I really love the fact that they used YYS's OST as the end credits song. Totally didn't know he had such a lovely voice β€οΈ I usually avoid animal related dramas/ movies but ended up watching "My Heart Puppy" because of him. It was surprisingly wholesome. Have you seen it?
"why fl forgave her mother "? Because she is her mother. Parents ,children and siblings. always forgive one another…
Exactly! I really loved the "forgive but don't forget" concept they applied between HJ and her mum.
There's no point continuing the hate train- HJ wanted to move on...what's the point of holding on to old grudges right? Specially when the mum too was beginning to understand what she did to HJ was wrong.
I also like how they used Ch. Hong as a buffer between the two instead of leaving Hj and her mum alone. It was very subtlye but this shows that while they are in a better place, Heeju still isn't very comfortable.
Your concerns are understandable but you are in the wrong platform.
MBC isn't going to clarify anything since their prime market knows they did nothing wrong (at least based on the statistics). Clarifying it would backfire on them.
Hmmm. Interesting about the phone calls.I also thought the phone calls were the best thing, but at the beginning…
SE thought her phone was hacked and that's how 406 got her pic.
It isn't unusual for HJ to have random pictures of herself in her personal phone (for all he knew she was trying to check something on her tigh) .
The reporter already explained why SE couldn't check/ ask about it. He loved Heeju too much to know if she was cheating on him AND their relationship wasn't at a position where he can expect things from her.
On 7th. So... His wife was just attacked by someone who seems to be close enough to know whatever they're doing,…
She has secret bodyguards- they are probably following her (Between ep 2- 7 at that point there were clues + HJ clearly asked him not to make the security obvious).
They probably aren't around her only when SE's there since you can see he panics alot when he loses sight of her compared to when she's out and about when he's not around.
Can someone help me understand what the conflict over the last episode is? Based on other comments, I gathered…
To keep it short- Korean language is contextual. If you only listen to what Yu Ri says, her sentence can either mean that Paltima is attacking Izmael OR Izmael is attacking Paltima.
Since the News Banner clearly states that the Koreans were kidnapped by Izmael Militants AND the news backdrop clearly has an arrow pointing from Izmael to Paltima, in terms of context, it's clear that the news segment is pro-Paltima and supports Paltima.
But because Netflix didn't bother to translate the news banner or backdrop nor did they bother too add the contextual parts to the subtitles, it caused a major contravery with the international audience.
It's worth noting that this issue did not trend in Korea (not even in Naver) so the misinterpretation issue makes more sense.
destroyed everything by including stupid zionist propaganda π€’ people are literally dying every second in Palestine.…
Did you hear about the misintepretation contravery? :)
It's not difficult to test it on your own if you don't believe it- use google lens on the news banner and the backdrop behind Yuri- your doubts will get cleared.
And yes- Netflix handles subtitles- not the production team.
You can still be mad at them but let's be mad at them for the right reasons ya?
Same here - if you look at the episode in both SE and HJ's POVs instead of just Heeju's AND remember the timeline…
Exactly...their only issue with that scene was prioritizing the hopeless romantic side of going to Argan without adding just a little padding enough to soothe the fans who came for the thriller side. Otherwise they did check all the boxes in that scene pretty perfectly.
The more I think about it, honestly it's hilarious how people expect him to be the perfect husband after going through radical changes for only about 3 weeks at most - specially seeing as it's Sa Eon who even panicked just because HJ was mad at him and Sang Woo during their dinner π.
Him having a meltdown/ running away after finding out how his switch ruined Heeju's life is more realistic than him just saying "I'm sorry that my family is filled with sociopaths" - or may I'm just being weird?π

(The drama has nothing in common with WTPR and I'm a fan of One Spring Night and cherry blossoms so that helped alot)

I always wondered why Netflix translations sometimes sound off compared to other sites and this clarified it.
(I used to watch some dramas via online sites before they uploaded them to NF so it's easy to notice the subtitle difference).
At least it's better late than never to be cautious about translations right? π

If they were truly pro-Izmael, why would they say that Izmael militants kidnapped the koreans? Might as well blame that on Paltima too right?

The best he can do is say that this is the place where Heeju's delulu came trululu π
