"Actions have consequences"The source novel didn't contain any propaganda regarding the "Palitima" issue, and…
Have you used Netflix?
At the end credits they ALWAYS mention the translation credits that's done by Netflix's Team so what more do you need as proof? NF screwed up.

MBC (and most local broadcasting teams in the world) do not provide subtitles. Their prime audience (locals) doesn't usually need english subs (or the other 3 language translations NF is providing).

Excellent! Why exactly did he ever get out of that car? That was so stupid. This is ending is what anyone with…
It's the same reason why he left IMO🙈.

Heeju gets priority over everything and I guess since the cops were only a few minutes behind them, SE may have thought that he might be able to distract the kidnapper long enough? The guy is too unhinged to provoke- in the off chance he moved away from the car, SE and HJ might be exposed to more danger 🙈

(Not to mention the whole legal mess that comes with deliberately running over your tormentor🙈)

Exactly what I thought would happen but they said no, that's too predictable. I wish Heejoo was driving 😭
Heejoo! 🤣🤣🤣
I can already hear the kidnapper sigh one last time "not again -_-"

Totally agree with you! I avoid Makjang for that exact reason usually. Too annoying and it takes away attention…
Exactly! In Ah was kind of meddling at times but her concerns were kind of understandable. She just needs to improve her communication skills 🙈

Yu Ri was definitely refreshing. It's not often the SFL actually manages to help the ML get closer to the FL (even if she has no idea🤭)

I like makjang elements but not full makjang. Typical makjangs have women (esp moms) screaming their heads off…
Totally agree with you! I avoid Makjang for that exact reason usually. Too annoying and it takes away attention from the MC's story.

Speaking of crazy mums, one thing I couldn't help noticing with WTPR is that all the female characters were portrayed as strong independent* characters which was interesting (even HJ's mum- she had questionable goals and was pretty terrible but you gotta hand it to her, the woman somehow got what she wanted 😅)

The dads being caricatures is a perfect way to sum up Father Baek 🤣

*Yes, even Heeju is independant since except for the Argon arc, HJ saved herself every single time either with her wits or because of her past with the family secretary

Aside from the scene that triggered so many people, For some reasons I just understand episode 12 😭 like there…
Same here - if you look at the episode in both SE and HJ's POVs instead of just Heeju's AND remember the timeline covered between ep 1-11, it makes more sense (specially since the drama also made it clear whose side were they on).

Argan arc could have been fleshed out better ngl since they had enough source material but it's probably a timing issue🙈

I don’t think I ever saw so many comments on a series here :)) CRAZY 😝 So I just started this out of curiosity…
In a way you kind of answered your question. Sol was a bubbly girl before her accident. Her accident pretty much robbed her off her dreams and youth to a certain extent (Not looking down on disabilities but she literally got paralysed when she was 18. Even as an adult, while she is well adjusted, she still has to go through difficulties that the abled take for granted).

Her second chance not only gives her a chance to save Sunjae but also to live her life without any regrets.

there seem to be mixed reviews on this drama...is it worth watching? when do the leads get together? any breakups?
If you are into time travel (with the objective of saving someone - so multiple chances), fantasy, romcom, and a dash of trauma, you'll probably like this.

The chemistry is 🔥 and the story is heart warming. The ending is worth the journey (at least IMO)💙💛

Politics aside, I watched this drama for CSB and loved seeing her on a mellow side when I've always known her…
"They harp about these rich political families and racing for president but they don't try to pit WHY they are so great"

The drama actually made it clear for a change how they survived for so long.

Both the Hong family and the Baek family are from old money. The reason why they lasted so long was not out of the goodness of their hearts - they were shrewd and calculating. From the Baeks whose main priority was their reputation to the Hongs whose need to outway the Gains over their losses was a priority.

You essentially need to sell a part of your soul to be at their level.

Controversy aside, is the final ep that bad? No spoilers pls.
Honestly just ignore MDL and watch it with a fresh mind if you have the time.

If you are in it for the romance, you will probably like it since they didn't dare to reunite the couple in the last moment (we got 20 mins of Saju love era). If anything they got more cheeky towards the end.

That being said, I admit it's not the best episode because they tried to fill in plot points from the novel without fleshing them out well enough so it either came of as either disjointed or unnecessary depending on who you ask but not everybody cares about (i chose to assume that the novel's scenes happened off screne which made it more comfortable to me- i personally liked the episode).

Other than that there's abit of a conflict on some of SE's decisions but again you can choose to understand him if you look at it from his pov and remember what kind of person he truly is (and the fact that ep 1-11 happened within 1 month). Besides the drama also supported HJ's side so it's honestly your choice to decide if you like it or not.

As for the 10 second contraversy- IMO it was a poor choice regardless of their reason but honestly it's been blown way out of propotion since most didn't even notice it until a post went viral (if you are interested to understand more on it, there are plenty of discussion panels on the page explaining the situation).

Does anyone know how long Park Do Jae was in jail for attempting to murder Heejoo? Afterall he pushed her off…
There has to be a timeskip between the events in Argan and SE's new life since logically you can't change your identity within weeks- even if you are an asset to the government.

They probably gave PDJ 6 months to 1 year since PDJ was arrested in June and was in jail by December. As far as I recall the christmas deco wasn't there when Heeju got the donationa package from Argan so there should have ideally been at least a few weeks to 1 month till she arranged her trip there too.

The drama had names that sounded similar to Palestine/ isreal which made people angry and they mass downvoted…
Honestly this only blew up because of one overzelous post on X and somehow MDL got dragged into it as well eventually.

I watched the episode as soon as it was released and so did many others. The only thing people were complaining about was how the Argan plot felt off for some (which is fair enough depending on your pov) during the first couple of hours...and then that viral post happened.

It's just another excuse for people to fight over - the fact that most ignore the misinterpretation of the dialogue says it all :)

You are absolutely right, you see that the drama is lowering the rating but you are still here. I don't understand…
True. The issue this time compared to the TVN examples I gave is that the reasons behind the hate on TVN dramas' pages is petty or superficial and not really enough to reach non drama fans.

Whereas the mistake WTPR made was that they made themselves easy prey. The 5 second moment was basically a free-for-all buffet for the vultures who hang around MDL🫠

In the novel he was part of a negotiation team in Argan right? Because that's how he found out about the Korean sign inteprettor? Kind of like a combat/ negotiator role?

(Idk if he was also part of a tactical team tbh because when i read that chapter i tried to avoid spoilers as much as possible and now that the drama has ended, couldn't really find the motivation to read it in detail).

Let’s these kids have fun ,anyway they are naive to think MBC cares for international fan website its been 5…
Exactly. The fact that people question them choosing the drama over one line in the last episode? Like I know most people aren't aware how the industry works, but it has to be common sense that the chance of artists getting all episode scripts in advance is highly unlikely right? 🤦‍♀️

Oh no they will never accept the mistranslation. One genius called me Zionist when i mentioned that the banner clearly said that Izmael militants kidnapped Koreans.- where is the logic in that sentence? 🤷‍♀️
