The difference between episode 1 and the rest is huge. They’re actually so sweet together lol. I thought it…
Oh so their dynamic isn’t as toxic as what’s implied on the summary? I was low key curious about the drama but the way they mentioned how Takaashi is supposed to still behave like a servant to N just rubs me the wrong way 🙈
Was the heart transplant necessary? (and we know who is the donor...) The guy doesn't even have a scar!
If it's the dead friend's heart, it could be necessary.
There are endless possibilities- perhaps the dead friend is out for vengeance- protect the FL and avenge his own death since it really wasn't an "accident?. He can possess the ML to do his bidding later (or guide him). My bet is that it's the SML since the guy seems to be a tad too obsessed + he already knew that he was adopted at the time of the accident if I remember correctly.
The writer can also use this as a loophole for the FL to eventually have a reason to breakup with the ML towards the end of the drama and disappear for a bit since she cannot trust his feelings (does HE love her or is the dead friend)🤪
About the surgical scar, Kathryn_51 has shared an interesting theory on it:https://mydramalist.com/798802-chilling-romance#comment-27030942
They might be planning to have some sort of exaggerated theatrical reveal considering how we haven't had any of the "mandotary" ML topless scenes you usually get with RomComs.
It is also rather hilarious how he was almost like superman in the first five episodes despite his heart condition- zero foreshadowing (at least as far as I can remember)😅
by the looks of the preview she might happily accept the ML as she does care and love the FL
I hope she is sincere. All the harping abour share increase might be her misguided way of assuming Yeori can be motivated by profit but honestly given how most of her family, I wouldn't be surprised if she has a fe hidden skeletons as well 🙈
It kind off spoiled the second half of the series.1. The only reason it's hard for the FL to get married is because…
Potential Spoiler 3 - IF the heart transplant doner is in fact her friend, they’ll probably have a short breakup because the FL would not be sure if the ML loves her willingly or is it because of any residual feelings from her dead friend (if there’re ghosts, then possessed hearts also should be a thing too)🙈
Fl doesn’t really have the badass vibe or face in her. Not even the attitude. Bad casting. Even the ml is so…
Isn't she supposed to camouflage with society so nobody suspects her alias?🙈 Ordinary life with an ordinary family with an unassuming average man. Nobody would bother to give her (and by extension her family) a second glance.
If you think about it, it's rather unfortunate that young Sota wasn't brave enough to reach out to Mariko when they were kids. It's clear she would have liked him at least as a friend but now...idk.
Even if he really isn't the culprit (a huge IF at this point), how do you salvage 25 years worth of secrets? Would the journals be enough?🙈
On a side note, it's too bad Sota no longer draws on his journal- imagine what he'd sketch after ep 3's heart to heart?🤭
Is it me, he does have the korean actor's Si Wan's vibe from Koi Nante, Honki de Yatte Do Suru no?!
Seeing this comment after 4 years is rather ironic since he now reminds me of a cross between Im Siwan's "Unlocked" and "Boyhood" characters in his latest drama (25 Years of You)🙊
Ep 1 was rather compelling. I love how they gave his pov in an almost "Disney-fied" kind of way only to turn tables in the last minute. At the end of the day, he isn't a hero no matter how noble his initial intentions were🙈
Well im happy he is alive but it was ridiculous. They should show his spirit go out to her for the few minutes…
It’s implied that he ran to her as soon as he woke up after getting resuscitated. So there was no spirit to begin with and that’s why he was still in his clothes instead of a hospital gown. His friend was looking for him because he probably ran out of the room before the hospital staff could restrain him.
Lack of bandages (even later) is just typical kdrama logic 🤪

We shouldn't really root for him (specially given ep 4's preciew) but...🙈
