I’m looking forward to The Midnight Romance in Hagwon, too. It’s directed by Ahn Pan Seok, who also worked on One Spring Night, an all time top favorite of mine. He also knows how to create poignant moments, capture beautiful scenes, and pair relevant bgm’s.

After having a brush with death, it solidifies her decision that she wants to be with him where ever he is. That means, if he's staying in NanPing, then so be it, she will be there, too. Meanwhile, he travels to Shanghai to surprise her which means, he too is willing to work things out with her. They ultimately reach a compromise to be together and make things work. Although it's not clearly stated, but she's most likely moving back to NanPing because in the last few episodes, it shows her trying to establish her business networks there.

Of the dramas mentioned by you, I've finished 3, paused 1, sampled 1. Having said that, I would recommend you start WLIS immediately because it's really that good.

You have such strong will power. Waiting patiently is a virtue which I must admit I don't have when it comes to binging on captivating dramas; and WLIS is such a drama to me. Enjoy the show!

I understand your pov. Truth is nobody is perfect - physically or emotionally. She’s marked as imperfect with her disability as a reminder to us. Imperfection is what makes us human. While you may see him as a simp, I view him as having the courage to love, patient, and understanding; all wonderful traits in a man.

ZJ has her own dreams to chase, whether that be at the top of her professional career or other life goals. I'm glad ZJ didn't give up on her dreams too easily. Those who dislike her character most likely don't embrace women empowerment and equality; but just dreamt of being married, having kids, and living life as traditional house wife. ZJ wanted more and as a modern woman, she deserved the opportunity to have more. In the end, I'm just happy for her that she manages to have it all.

Eps 15/16 tug my heartstrings several times. My eyes welled up with tears. WLIS is inching up easily to 10/10 soon if it keeps going at this pace. Love the waltzes played at poignant moments, too.
