Their relationship did move fast but it was a given( in 4 days they started kissing and all lol). This is how…
It wasn't 4 days. He's been commuting 6-7 hours each way back and forth between his university and Wu Wei's apt in the city. It's been alluded that he could only make it back on the weekend, but sometimes it's a Thurs-Sunday since he wanted to see her so badly. So I think it's closer to a few weeks when they started to kiss.
YG's words of encouragement to LYY totally energizes and helps him stay on course to fulfill his personal goal. It's so sweet to have a loved one's total support. She's such a darling, telling him that even if he's nothing, he's still the world third ranked 9-ball pro's boyfriend. β€ππ
Love how the Meng brothers are trying to help LYY build a strong resume in preparation of the inevitable family meeting by praising him non-stop to the grandma. π€£ππ

It didn't show whether he committed the mistake or not. It only showed him saying he didn't do it, that he didn't cause an error, then the referee said something along the line such behavior wasn't allowed.
why exactly did LYY stop playing? Iβm kind of confused on that
He had a disagreement with a referee during a game and got suspended for 6 months. His coach/master demanded that he apologize to the referee which he refused so he got kicked out and disowned by the master. Due to his strong personality, on principle term he vowed to retire from the game than to bend to someone's authority.

His anger has settled and if my memory serves me correctly, I believe YG asked him whether he's finally let it go, and he said yes. If we were to take your assumption of 4-5 years, by then, he has chosen a new path/life and that was to pursue an education, and even went as far as applying for a Phd program. He lost his direction in life after leaving the pool club at 16. Up until now, his compass still has no needle because he was still not sure what he wanted in life. Now that she has appeared in his life, it forces him to seriously reflect on what is it he truly wants.
i love this drama ππ but i am having this constant thought in my mind ...i can understand that lin yiyang…
He loves the game. He just doesn't like the rules. He was young and proud, and his stubbornness couldn't let his pride bow down and take a step back. He was 16 then this happened. But also, his master/coach was almost like a father figure to him, and being "disowned" was almost like being betrayed by his most trusted person at that point. Obviously, he has a lot of baggage and emotional issue regarding this. But we can see that he has matured over the past 11 years and has been very calm and level headed now. We've seen how he's dealt with LQY and when player(s) challenged him to a game, and careful not to snub people too harshly. I think he's grown up rather nicely.
