You're right. It was his character in LYF that I wasn't crazy over, but TJC performed well especially with his mercurial eyes.

Tan Jian Ci portrays MQC really well. I'm glad he's cast for the role. He's confident yet humble and non-aggressive in how he pursues GS. His way of asking for permission is also very subtle and in a very gentleman manner. I wasn't too crazy about him in LYF but he does awesome here. Zhou Ye is amazing as well. So loving this drama!!!
