One of the reasons could be because iQiyi doesn't want to risk having MJTY cancelled/suspended/shelved by the Chinese gov't due to the rape investigation on one of the actors in the show. So, they had to rush release before the gov't get to it. Just speculation here but it would make sense. So many high profile shows never made it to release stage even after they finished shooting and editing because of actors/actresses run in with the law/tax evasions/drugs-substance abuse/sex scandal/death..etc.

There is no first wife. Huan Yu is not his bio son. Huan Yu's parents died, so ML's father took Huan Yu in, and over time, Huan Yu called Hong Yu, the late SW, father.
SGQ is a spy from WuFeng on the surface, but the ultimate goal is to annihilate WuFeng. She's also working for WuFeng because she's a disciple of QingFeng Sect and that sect has succumbed to WuFeng, so in essense, she is at WuFeng's service. She just wanted to seek revenge for her original family/sect/Gushan. They were all decimated by WuFeng and she was the last of her lineage. She's really not that bad. She's just driven by her need to seek justice at all means but viewers don't like her because her method is too harsh and extreme. She's also under pressured to deliver "performance" in exchange for antidote or risk death every 14 days. So, it's under time constraint constantly. It's not like she has 10 years to seek revenge. If she doesn't perform, she will die and won't even have the opportunity to avenge her family. She's really a misunderstood character and viewers aren't looking at her circumstances accordingly...Maybe they should be in her shoes to see things differently.

True. We would never know. If I remember correctly, it was mentioned that Fu family And YuSen’s maternal family had a marriage agreement/arrangement. So, it sounded like a business deal. Anyhow, FuRong went ahead and married Xi Zhou’s mom before hand without telling his father. So, he obviously loved Xi Zhou’s mom more.
