The hairpin belonged to Zheng NanYi, but who tainted it with poison? It could be Anonymous or Madame Wuji. As for GYZ dousing Zheng with poison, I don't think he intended to kill HuanYu and HongYu, but them not getting the Herb Elixir did cause their death. At this point, it's clear that there are spies in Gong Valley causing all kind of chaos.

The dead Ms. Zheng should count as 1 of 4 Mei's. I think she said she was a Mei.

There could only be one Sword Wielder and only the SW would be inked with the writings. The Young Lord is next in line to be the Sword Wielder so it's just a matter of time he would be inked as well when the position is passed to him. That's why she had to be a Sword Wielder's bride to get access.

This speculation makes sense, too. Based on the poison stain from the late's Sword Wielder's fingers, we were led to believe it's from touching the hairpin which only HongYu and HuanYu had.

I think he's falling for her and MAYBE even she for him. Their situation is like the proverbial "moth to a flame". The attraction force is strong and they can't resist the temptation.

Now that we know Madame Wuji is a spy from WuFeng, and based on her whereabouts and story in ep 2, I think it's very likely that she's the one who poisoned and kill GZY's brother and father.

Well, not quite. She would still need to make a copy of it and somehow send the info to WuFeng. Madame Wuji also should have access to the inking on the late Sword Wielder's back but she has been stuck in the valley. That's why GSJ tried to make a deal with her about going "outside."
