She's too funny in ep 13. I finally realize why she cracks me up so much with the antics. Her slapstick humor reminds me of Stephen Chow's comedies!!!

I love YWS's fierceness in demanding for antidotes first before handing the goods over to HYS. He may be her "godmother"/raven, but she's not risking her life by leaving her fate blindly in someone's else hand.

Probably because she has mean girl vibe all over her.

But I think there will be redemption and atonement after the betrayal, so it won't be so bad.

I’m sure Madame Wuji was from WuFeng after seeing how she caught YWS’s throat.

There are different types of chemistry. The kind of chemistry that's shown from cp 2 has nothing to do with love or whether they will end up being in love. Arch enemies and life long nemesis could also have chemistry. On-screen chemistry is created when you just wanted to see more of them or know what would happen to them because they are able to create that magic, regardless whether is love, hate, lies, tragic endings, etc. Two strangers passing by each other everyday without exchanging words could also have chemistry. It's how they act and how the director captures the angles of camerawork. I totally understand your interpretation as well.

I ship for the main couple, too, because their love is more selfless and pure. They are overall decent people and respect human life. Love doesn't equal chemistry on screen. If I had to pick one couple who I wish would make it to the end, it would be main cp; but I seriously, 2nd couple harness more chemistry.

I feel the same. I really want to see more from the main couple. The connection and chemistry is not as intense nor memorable as the second couple. It has nothing to do with angst. Many happy and/or neutral couples in Cdrama have great chemistry. We do have 13 more eps to go, soooo....fingers crossed.

That is random. We're talking about less than 1/3 of 1% chance. Although my sister and I have the same birthday, and we're not twins. =)

Now we know the beauty of the foreshadowing from the weiqi game in ep 10 that was revealed in ep 11. Several antagonists won one a small battle, but lost a big one in respective well laid entrapments set for them. Shangguan vs YWS, ShangJue/YuanZhi vs Lady Wuji.

I agree this is very unlikely as 99% of the time, the leads are almost always protagonist. The ONLY way a lead is ever a villain is when he/she lost their memory, and started the new life on the opposite end.

All her head pieces and bridal jewelry were already removed when she was caught AFTER the attack attempt on GZY.

Since all the brides wore the same bridal head pieces, the hairpins may have been distributed by Gong Valley. If that's the case, it would be easy for someone to obtain a similar one and swap it. So, I highly believe that Zheng NanYi's original hairpin was replaced with a poisonous one with the secret note inside. Seems an inside job.

The scene made Shang Jue suspicious because prior to HuanYu interrupted the tea/conversation between the late Sword Wielder and Shang Jue, he was reporting to SW that he had a good relationship with the Zheng family leader. Shortly after that, HuanYu came in and said Ms. Zheng was a WuFeng spy.
