Seeing how MZH and her 8th sister have made peace, I wouldn't be surprised if MZH somehow also wins over Sun Yun Yun and becomes friends. Ms. Sun isn't sooo bad. She's annoying but I wouldn't coined her a real villain. I hope they come to friendly terms.
If princess rojia kills the queen dwager and also the first prince and then she doesn't end up being an empress…
I don't think the Princess will get the throne. The entire imperial family would have to be killed off for her to be the Empress. There are 2 more princes even if 1st Prince is killed off. I don't think the drama is going down that route. I think the Princess is targeting the Empress Dowager only and anyone else who has done her wrong.
Liu Yan is a wooden block! "I don't celebrate festivals." MZH was so disappointed when she heard it.
He was so discreet though. He didn't even look at her at all while playing! Meanwhile she happy-dappy listening to the tune played with her gifted flute. These two are killing me!ππ I love watching them.
Liu Yan is a wooden block! "I don't celebrate festivals." MZH was so disappointed when she heard it.
Yet at the same time she was happy that Liu Yan refused all gifts except hers. To her, that was already a gift because she knew she meant more to him than all those ladies.π
I love MZH's lotus pastry storyline. Such well written comedy skit. First Prince was so delighted to be gifted with MZH's delicious homemade lotus pastry that it even made Lord Ding's jealous. Unbeknownst to the prince until shortly after that everyone got the same lotus pastry from MZH except Lord Ding who was gifted something uniquely his. Overall, the TongXin festival was a great view. Ahhh...much was revealed during this festival.π
For those complaining or wondering why Lord Ding acted like an old man when he was supposed to be 30 yo, stiff without any facial expressions, and uninteresting, it's because he was on the verge of dying. He literally had a foot in the grave. His only reason to remain alive was to seek justice for the 30K dead soldiers by solving the case since his trusted men pleaded to him to stay alive. He was living for them, not for himself. Physically strained and consciously weighed down, there was no joy in his life and nothing to smile about prior to MZH's appearance. FSF is doing a wonderful job as Lord Ding, talking and walking slowly with a non-expressive face.
What I also love was Lord Ding smiling when he overheard MZH's comment about having seen him without clothes.π
"You even brought her pork knuckle?!" Best gift ever!!!!π€ͺπ
