First time seeing Cao Lei 's performance (Luo eldest son). I'm impressed with his performance.

They don't have a better option. The eldest son is supposed to marry the Tian daughter, so in essence, they would be related. Also, the Tian 's family used to serve the Luo's family, so there's a secondary connection. If father Luo didn't sign the properties over, it would all be confiscated by the gov't; then there would definitely be no hope in getting anything back.
