Join the club! I'm rewatching too with an idiotic smile on my face whenever they are on screen.I'm hoping you…
Sadly, I don’t think I’d be of much help in this dept. I watch all genres, but only if they’re able to hold my attention. Having said that, other than IS, Ashes of Love is the only other Xanxia I was able to finish completely; actually, and The Blue Whisper, too, which I FORCED myself to finish. Therefore, my opinion is moot. I’ve sampled all the popular XanXia dramas searchable on MDL, but as said, somehow I find myself skipping too many scenes to justify “completion” – which basically means, I don’t have a good memory of those dramas either. =)

what is Yuan Shen's deal? does he like CSS - seems he does but also not sure its love
He likes her, but he doesn't want to like someone as CSS because he feels she's uneducated, uncontrollable, and crude while he's educated and superior. However, he can't help but be drawn to her, plus to be snubbed and ignored by her on all accounts when ladies are vying for his attention. As much as he denies his feelings and she further moving away from his grasp, he finally caves in and admits that he does like her romantically.
Need something to watch while waiting for the next episodes. I have researched Long Ballad / A Dream of Splendor…
All three are 10's on my scale! Obviously Immortal Samsara is still airing, but it's already a 10 to me. If you don't mind xanxia, watch Immortal Samsara so you can join in the comments live as you are with LLTG. I would leave The Long Ballad last so that you don't get Leo/Lusi overload and clash with LLTG. If you don't like Xanxia, then pick ADOS. Regardless, you can't go wrong with any of the three. Enjoy!
I know some of y'all love the boy but why does Wu Lei always look like he's holding his breath to me? Aiya. Sometimes…
Hmmm, really? Doesn't seem like it to me. Maybe I don't know what the look of holding one's breath is supposed to be like other than having a red face. Please give example.
I'm re-watching, too, now, and only on ep 3. I can't bring myself to view other dramas as much as I look at my list. It's like the "I have nothing to wear when my closet is full of clothes with tags still attached" syndrome.
I will not surprised, if actor (father) said it wrong, and later Lusi and him continued improvised))
I think it was intentional. They were both so scared to be there, so the verbal slip was another indication that the father couldn’t even speak logically. However, I would have to praise Lusi and the father for improvising if it was non-intentional.
The clothes satchel /“luggage” has been long gone from most recent historical dramas. I haven’t seen them…
I remember seeing this. I was actually surprised with the basket backpack. It was something new and thought someone actually made that for the show?! Hahaha.
