Hehehe, I love these , too, especially princess agents. I highly recommend Kenny Lin’s new drama “To Love” if you like him. It’s really captivating. The director did a really good job in weaving all pov’s together. That show is so underrated.
So what will everyone watch now that the drama is coming to an end? I think I’m gonna lay low for a bit. Need…

What software did you use to export/strip the original mandarin closed caption? I tried doing this a few weeks ago with 3 different softwares, but none was able to support it.
It was torturous to wait 4 days week over week for subs. So glad to be part of a community with participants who embrace the TLB obsessions.
That bored and a lot of other words bugged me! Viu subtitles are great in that Matter still.
Unfortunately, I don't have access to VIU due to VPN. I don't want to deal with VPN installation/setup. Viki has decent translations from past experience with other series, but it's slow for non-vip members. For TLB, it's only available up to episode 36 at the moment!!!! I'd be dead from all the suspense already.

The French version translates Ah Sun as "Soleil" - which literally means "sun" - as in the sun and the moon. In Chinese character, "Sun" is Falcon. Ah Sun's name has a double meaning as it's linked to his Eagle tribe. I can't imagine all the mistranslations along with infamous"fire, fire, pants on fire". Now THAT would be a true lost in translation, especially if further translated from English to French word for word. I think Huace-TV probably uses the English subtitle as the master copy, and then translates that into other languages.
This part is for Chinese to English translation. Many times Ah Sun said "nonsense" but various sites translated it as "BORED" which didn't even make sense in context to the conversation. For example, when Mujin commented that Changge is a scary woman for coming up with the strategy to help Mobei and Monan defeat the Bear Tribe, and Ah sun replied "Bored" which should be "nonsense."

The portrayal of General Li Jing and his wife could have been inspired by wuxia’s golden power couple: Huang Rong and Guo Jing of the Legend of Condor Heroes. I can imagine this. This series has multiple remakes.
Huang Rong is extremely intelligent, quick-witted, prickly yet so very capable. If she’s handling a matter, you can be assured that no stone is left unturned. Guo Jing respects and loves her and doesn’t feel that his thunder is being stolen. Guo Jing is upstanding, chivalrous , and heroic just how we see Li Jing.
Very worried. Worried that I’ve befallen with a disorder : The GS-PTSD. Also known as GeSun Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Symptoms: recurring thoughts or feelings relating to the event.
Diagnostic method: based on symptoms.
Treatment: counseling and by visiting MDL TLB forum to relieve symptoms.
GS-PTSD totally ruins me. There will be no other cdrama that can best it. No other couple can take its special place in my poor heart.
