I really love how FuGui always uses a soft tone when speaking to QingTong, even during times when you think she deserves a reprimand like when she tried to sacrifice her inner core for his safety.
All the reference to Love in Pavillon makes me want to watch it when I donβt want to. Is there a summary? What…
The Father lost everything: friends, family, beloved wife, his dream in trying to make the world a better place.
Liu Shi Shi and Zhang Yun Long as HuaiZhu and HongYe in LiP are perfectly cast. They are one of my most favorite couples/cast. They made LiP a great watch to me. I highly recommend just to enjoy their screentime. They are the reason why I must watch their son's story, FuGui.
I know most of you dislike the Father, but the way FuGui showed up, strode in the save QingTong was just like how the Father came to rescue FuGui's mother from the evil Jin Ren Feng in LiP.
I know we're all bashing Hongye but why am I so excited to see how the father-son plot will develop. I can't forget…
I also feel the Dad is protecting Fugui from the other Alliance Elders from turning himinto a puppet monster , so he delivered a harsh enough punishment to ward them, but at least Fugui wonβt be controlled like a puppet monster. Truly, as much the majority here abhors the Dad, I feel heβs dealing with his pain in silence and also trying to keep the realm safe from the Black Fox. He could be warmer toward Fugui, this, I donβt deny.
I really want to know if fugui dad dies like he is so adorable in the previous part why did he turn out like this…
I know, such a sad and horrible card he's dealt by Fate. I hope the Dad "wakes" up , and remembers HuaiZhu said to him to let FuGui do whatever his heart desires if being a Soldier isn't what he wants.
This is random but as a non-Chinese, I always noticed that CDramas (ashes of love, starry love etc) depict demons,…
I also have watched both ashes of love and starry love, and a lot of other xanxia cdramas . If I had to comment, I would think for every 1 minor/Xinjiang actor/actress portraying a demon, there are 10 plus Han Chinese playing similar role. But truly, as long as whoever plays the role the best and most credibly, that's what important because after all, it's a performance of arts and entertainment.
I find the Mr. Fei( the bulter) so annoying . He keep telling ML to understand his dad. Dad isnt heartless. then…
Mr Fei is a wonderful character in all three parts of the series. He's awesome in LiP - so competent, loyal, and understanding as a multi-generational "butler" in handling all things big and small for the WangQuan family. He's been helping since FuGui's grandfather's time.
Maybe because I love LiP, all because of WangQuan HongYe and DongFang HuaiZhu, I'm giving the dad some leeway for his current behavior. The dad is really an awesome character in LiP.
I cannot stand Situ Ling (aka CHao Yuan). He's making it so hard for me to finish the series. I can't get myself to watch ep 35 because I don't want to see his face or hear his voice anymore. Sighhh....
I really like Li Yi Tong as QingTong in this series. She really puts up a fantastic performance, and honestly, moved me close to tears a few times. Perfect casting for the role. So happy she's getting more awesome roles.
He's so sweet and gentle with her. π₯°

I'm not from China. Peace! βοΈ π
