The Emperor of Susha is so slick. Purposely not naming a Crown Prince so there'd be enough time for FSG to grow up and be strong, and keep his life safe as long as possible. He's also intentionally not favoring FSG publicly to avoid bringing harm and attention from the Prime Minister. I strongly believe the late Empress was murdered by the Prime Minister.

After today's episodes, I advocate for XJS to be Emperor of JinXiu. The current Emperor is despicable and doesn't deserve to be king. Haters can complain all you like...I'll just be snacking on my beef jerky.

Today, we see a more violent Prime Minister.

Today, we learn why the Masked Person did what he did.

and now I have to wait for tomorrow to continue...

I like how they each believe in each other unconditionally as well.

His grand ambition is to rule Susha by proxy through his grandson, the second prince. Once the second prince becomes Emperor, power would be transferred to his hand indirectly. The court is already filled with his people. His plan in detail, I have no clue, but obviously, to take FSG down, and also eliminate the Emperor.

Hahaha...if it's him, then the original creator/scriptwriter really does the show a great injustice. But hey, bad people hide in plain site all the time!!

This would really make the shows even more interesting!

Could be...could be...and I think that's what keeping me on because I still don't know. I do know PM Zhuang is bad. Even FSG said PM Zhuang rules the entire court.

Now that my brain in clicking, maybe I should recategorize the list as EXTERNAL villain vs. INTERNAL villain. In such case, XJS would be #1 baddie for external; and MURONG SENIOR would be my #1 pick for internal baddie. Now I can rest my case....

The obvious #1 baddie is XJS, but I feel there's a HIDDEN boss. Looking at the list, I think it might be MURONG SENIOR.

We haven't seen much of him in action yet, but saying nice things about the Emperor and duties to the nation as a general in one episode.

This actor is pretty well-known and had played major roles many times. I say HIM.

Definitely not Emperor of JinXui. He's too incompetent that even his mom said so.

Yup..I love their interaction. FSG and the Emperor together is my second most favorite screentime duo after FSG & FYX.

I weigh more heavily on 2 also. I also don't trust him. He's so mercurial and we've witnessed the big lies he had formulated.

I don't hate her. I understand why she did what she did. Had it not been XJS, she would have died a long time ago in the desert. He did save her. Yes, she's head over heel for him, so she's doing all these stupid things. But let's say she's not crazily in love with him, it would still make sense for her to SAVE HIM in return for saving her.
