Just finished 8. Soooo good! Soooo satisfying!!! Always finish the episode at a cliffhanger!!

Don’t mind the rating. It’s a really good watch.

It’s really entertaining to me. I’m waiting for episodes everyday, and wish each coming day is less than 24 hrs because the waiting is unbearably long to find out what’s happening next.

The Chinese gov't doesn't want its citizens to start getting ideas that could lead to a potential social problem and disrupt its core value. That's why it bans or discourages topics such as BL, effemination( K-Pop male make-up style idolization), rebirth, time travel, religion, terrorism, prostitution, sex on cdrama. I'm sure there's more, but you get the gist.

Censorship by Chinese government. Certain topics aren’t allowed; such as rebirth.

That's why he's the guy behind it all because he presents himself as the least suspicious. But now that the synopsis gave it away, it sort of stole a large chunk of excitement out of the drama.

It IS the whole show. Unless there’s another “big boss” which I doubt according to the father’s placement on the cast list. 🤔

Can someone change the synopsis above? It’s giving too much away about the father.

I do love him feeding her , not just that , but also her favorite dishes. So considerate, but then again, had to hide it in the guise of “profession/career habit.” 😁

LOL.. yes, even ML commented on her being so good at acting in having suffered and wronged in ep 6.🤪

I rather enjoy their interaction. You can see he respects her intelligence, and she also appreciates him saving her out of difficult situations under the guise of “assisting in investigation.” 😀

Whatever it is she’s plotting, I believe she’s trying to clear her family and late father’s name, avenge their deaths, and expose the schemer behind their downfall. It’s possible she knows perhaps her husband is involved; that’s why she isolated herself from the main family and called them hypocrites.

Yes, I’ve watched a couple of her recent dramas. I really enjoyed her outstanding performance.

I agree with your insights.ML also made a foreshadowed speech about “the greatest schemer/liar can’t base a foolproof plan all on just lies alone.” The father acted weak and useless to deflect suspicion and from becoming a target.

Wow, up to 6, and it’s keeping me on my toes! So many secrets and suspense !! I’m really enjoying this one.

I LOOOOVEEEE it everytime he says "Wen Shuang Jiang", especially when he's short and can't it anymore with her, teasingly or not. 😍
