Hahaha...I love how Bai Shou commands Fan Yue's two sidekicks like they're her people in ep 2. The demon lord's slow-witted underling reminded the lord to stay quiet and not to go downstairs; already carrying out his "future mistress" order. 😁
is it just me or the ost sounds a lot like blue whisper
It's sung by Sa Ding Ding. She and the director collaborated in many dramas together, not just The Blue Whisper.
Their collaboration includes: The Starry Love, The Long Ballad, Ashes of Love. She also takes small roles in them, not just contributing to the musical score. She's the "bird lady" in The Blue Whisper.
In Moonlight Mystique, she plays the priestess/shaman in ep 1.
Sorry to be bombarding already with comments, but I expect so much out of this director, and he really doesn't disappoint. I laughed so hard when Bai Shuo has a painting of her savior's back (most likely Fan Yue) in the famous Mark Goh style (a la Chow Fun Fat). The director started his directorial craft in HK landscape, so I wouldn't be surprise if conjuring "Mark Goh" is his intention. Truly appreciate his awesome idea in adding humor.
What a creative way to start the first few minutes with claymation. I don't think I've seen it before in cdrama. It really plays on the cuteness and light side of the drama.
ML remembers who FL is, but pretends he doesn't know her? 2ML asked ML in ep 3 or 4 if he remembers her, and ML says yes, but he can't acknowledge her?! Or was it referencing something else and ML actually doesn't know FL is the same spirit he saved a decade ago?

But then I remember watching scenes SML seeing FL as the spirit girl — eg, when she took his candies.
