One thing I noticed, no one is talking about the husband. Like no one is getting deep into how she may have been…
A reply (as you were typing this) to the post just below yours claims the "ex-husband said that he only met KSR four times and he never ever abused her. He said he is ready to comply with the police investigations and he has proofs to back up his statements."

In other fake news—A popular European men's lifestyle magazine has reportedly offered Kim Soo Hyun a whopping sum of three million dollars (~4Bn krw) for the rights to publish the recently & unlawfully disseminated semi-nude photo of the world-famous actor and fashion model in their magazine, which has historically been known for its trend-setting fashion tips and stereo advice.

In their letter the publishers suggest that—by making a conscious choice to share the controversial photograph which had previously been released without his foreknowledge or permission—would provide the actor an opportunity to reclaim his dignity.

This action is not without precedent. After a similar incident in 2019, popular YouTuber James Charles decided to post a nude photo of himself to take back control. When a social media user replied that “literally no one asked for this,” the YouTube star replied, “Yeah well i didn’t ask to have my security and privacy threatened either so this is me taking back ownership of the situation, move on with your day.”

Responding to Gold Medalist's ambiguous deferrals, The European publishers have even promised to postpone publication until the conclusion of any trials expected to result from criminal complaint filed against those who are alleged to have violated the actor's privacy rights. They intend to feature Kim Soo Hyun in the inagaural issue of a Korean-language adaptation of their magazine, and are hoping to capitalize on widespread attention during its launch.

This localized publication will be renamed in honor of the beleaguered Hallyu star, "존엄성을 되찾는 남자들" (Men Reclaiming Dignity). Of Course, for the past five decades Westerners have known the popular periodical by its English name: Hairy Ass Monthly.

Wait are grannys actually calling him "Oppa"???Do they not know the actual meaning of the word? 😅
Lol. I am reminded of when the British singer-songwriter Kate Bush released a love song about a suspicious woman testing her man's fidelity by forging letters from a secret admirer named "Babushka" (grandma). 🤣

I had that thought but then it would be too obvious of a move and there is already an ongoing defamation lawsuit.
…or were perhaps successfully bribed &/or intimidated into silence? 🤷🏻‍♂️

I don't understand what is wrong with dating a minor. Why was she agree to be with him when she was a minor in…
It is wrong for an adult to date a minor is because children are far more susceptible to coercion and manipulation!

The brain is the last organ to fully mature in the human body. It only seems as though those aged 18 to 25 are completely grown, but their brains are still developing – specifically the area known as the prefrontal cortex. This part of the brain regulates functions such as attention, complex planning, decision making, impulse control, personality development, and risk assessment.

This is why children are not allowed to sign contracts.

I think I've cracked the code. KSR's first ex-boyfriend is bad. And her second ex-boyfriend is crazy. In that K-Drama 'Bad and Crazy', Crazy is K and Bad & Crazy turn out to be the same guy. So KSH & K must be the same guy!

Netflix "has come under fire for its poor subtitle quality" for numerous Korean dramas, and has created geo-political…
Not much to tell. There was a scene with an elderly man who needed help recalling an idiom which was on the tip of his tongue. Woo remembered it for him ISTR this is from the first of the two-parter about a village, the development of a new road, and a hackberry tree.

To all memebers, please think twice and avoid seeing things in black & white. That´s fine to share opinion, but…
Peace.

And before anyone replies with "on the internet nobody knows you're a dog," just know that dogs actually do see in color. That they only see in B&W is a common misconception.

Netflix has lots of viewers in lots of locations, but they also make lots of money. They make huge profits. They really ought to want to get this right.

My suggestion would be to hire many language experts and pair multiple native-Korean language experts with other experts for each of the languages to be translated. These pairings would collaborate to balance literal meanings with creative liberties capturing otherwise indefatigable-yet-essential elements.

I've noticed other drama subs using American idioms which are obviously not what was said but still seem to match the narrative. I'll admit that not every idiom, expression, or reference has a counterpart, but I still believe "two heads are better than one!"

Title The Potato Lab Spoiler
Ep 7 is silly fun and the slow-burn build-up to romance is delicious. I think that was the most romantic handshake I've ever seen. And his intimately-private personal anecdote beforehand made it especially poignant. (No touch! It reminded me of Mr. Queen. 😝)

But their potato war was absolutely ridiculous. She should have won that argument, even before doing all that additional research. Her response to his criticism of the scab disease was perfect (adding sulphur and regulating moisture), while his counter to the phytophthora blight was flawed. Who else was frustrated that she did not catch his error right away? (Please post your 🙋🏻in the replys, and we can form a support group.)

I'll explain for the students sitting in the back rows: Adding spaces between the plants will reduce the overall harvest (Kg/Km^2), negating the reason to move to a higher-production species in the first place. Duh! (The writing in dramas these days can be so frustrating, sometimes. Don't you agree?)

She should have pointed that out, and mentioned that the increased expense for sulphur and labor time to water Maroo in would be far less than the reduced output & income resulting from leaner fields of Marshall! ()

I'm just hoping they make up and agree to grow both for or an ongoing basis. Introducing redundancy is not a bad thing. Even a trial period would be a welcome compromise. If either disease crops up, production will be reduced, but not ruined. And growers will be able to express a choice. Potato researches would still be in need. And win-wins are the definitive happy endings for romcoms.
