MDL is part of the entertainment-media culture. KSH is one of them. He is not only the highest paid actor (or was, until now), is a top advertising brand ambassador (or was, until now), and is himself a studio executive (he owns GoldMedalist, run by his brother).

Perhaps the most important reason is that his stardom drives a significant percentage of traffic to this site.

Only a lawyer or a narcissist could say with a straight face, "Our client who never dated Sae Ron nor ever visited her apartment is subject to embarrassment & fear of sexualization by people viewing the nudie pic of him in her apartment!" 🤣

I think a better writer and actor could maybe have sold that. But these two did not.

I hope someone is keeping track of all his cancelled endorsement deals. I'd also love to see some industry insiders' estimates of the total penalties KSH will be forced to pay!

I am shocked! A criminal trial allows the defendants the right to 'Discovery', meaning they can access all relevant 'work products' from GoldMedalist and KSH. This includes communications, contracts, internal memos, etc.

I suspect there must be another damage control team presently shredding documents and wiping hard drives.

Add the fact she took her life on Soo Hyun's birthday. That speaks to him being her reason, not spousal abuse.

I agree. Assuming the marriage/abortion story wasn't made up out of whole cloth, they should have anticipated this. And they should have had their response ready. That they have remained silent is—to me—concerning.

At this point, considering the mental state he must be in, I doubt it's doing him any good. And I seriously doubt he will be at the fan meet in Taiwan on the 30th.

You are not a p3do just because the person you have been supporting may actually be exposed to have been one, which is unlikely. In any event, KSR was above the age of 13 in 2015 and above the age of 20 in 2020, so was never a legal minor during their relationship.

You are not wrong to check facts or for wanting to wait for the full truth to emerge before altering your opinions.

The lawsuit will indeed provide answers and there is only speculation but no hard evidence to suggest that Lee Jin Ho received the surveillance audio from or has been working under the direction of KSH/GM now or in the past.

Cognitive dissonance is the mental discomfort that results from holding two conflicting beliefs, values, or attitudes. People tend to seek consistency in their attitudes and perceptions, so this conflict causes unpleasant feelings of unease or discomfort.
