Tell me about it. There are WTF moments in CDramas all the time. However, either do such a good job that the viewer doesn't realise or do it properly. There are amazing realistic dramas as well but they are usually not rated highly here on MDL. 🤷🏻♀️

IKR?! For reason, I was expecting something with more depth, an idol drama nonetheless. Something in the vein of Better Days. I don't mean the theme but the manner of story telling. I have read the novel and it is beautifully romantic and sad. I wish the drama had better captured the undercurrent of sadness that is present in the novel.

Actually, I feel it's to do with subpar execution of the scenes. I have watched way more WTF scenes yet never gotten caught up in how unrealistic they are. That's because I didn't have trouble suspending my disbelief as I was way too immersed in the romance. Here, the execution is clunky at best which took me out of the drama quite a few times.
The story has potential but I dont get some (most) of the FL's actions. No hate to the actor, just not a fan of…
I don't like the direction of her character at all and I happen to be a huge fan of LJ. What a shame. Contrary to the opinions of many here, I don't think it's her best performance.
This was a fun, light watch. Predictable? Yes but the pacing was good, the characters likeable and with no major…
Mapi's last fight scene with the OST and the cuts to In Seong being welcomed was chef's kiss. One of the best KDrama scenes ever. P. S. : KSO is so underrated. This guy can do both comic and gray characters with finesse.
No, you are not the only one. I think they got a bit carried away in using silence as a plot device. When it's…
I don't think they wished to fill up the episode, I think they wanted to bank upon long pauses to subtly show that they are falling in love. However, the execution just doesn't work.
Hi. I've watched two episodes. Really mixed feelings. Personally for me it's unfair to rate a drama 2 episodes…
This! I totally feel you. Somehow, there's no sense of urgency... Don't know how else to explain, but the scenes in Eastern Country feel too languid. The frenzied moments don't feel desperate enough.
I hope FL's character gets better, because she's made dumb choices like taking off helmet while stepping on mines.…
I was bothered by her internal emotions showing up on her face too easily. I wish they had relied more on her internal monologue to tell us how she felt about Azan than have her visibly reacting to his presence. Unfortunately, the depiction of a war time correspondant is not at all convincing. Meanwhile, I like how GZC plays SX, I like SX's spunk, he does come across as someone who has grown up watching his country embroiled in conflict and wishes to be of use through covering the news related to the same.
