Frustrating at times, but exciting throughout.
Felt no chemistry with the leads, but its okay because romance isn't the main plot.
The number of eps are just right. Some cdramas would be as good if they weren't dragged to 30+eps.

If they have money now because shifu is back, it also doesn't make sense that he didn't leave BFX a cent when he put her incharge. I mean, they were able to hire/pay for the ship. It was funny at first when she was alone and carefree, but not when she can't even provide basic needs of her juniors like doctors fee and medicine. They really just did that so she will be fully dependent on ml in Yongzhou.

It was a good scene because he already realized, while BFX is BFX, chill.
