Even if she spent more time with him or the brothers weren't as close, the bare minimum is focusing on his grief as much as hers, unless his brother did something awful to him and even if he did there's every chance he still loved him very much and I find it strange that he seems to be more concerned about her even then to be able to pretend to be his brother when he just died which is just insane.

Yeah we'll see how it goes but I still find it incredibly strange as a storytelling choice to focus on the fl's grief instead of the twin brother who is also the lead no matter how they spin it.

I'm watching this and I have a question if you could please answer it. I'm on ep 15 and I am so confused as to why that water carrier pretended to know Chen shi's brother and got him to get the box. They said the beggar took it which how? Didn't they have it with them they were killing their ex-friend/traitor? If then who pawned it? If it was the beggar then why did the man at the pawnshop have the same pouch as them meaning he's with them?? If it was them why the hell would they pawn it and then want it and then send some random dude to get it back? Am I missing something???

I love this show, my issue however is not that the "romance" is minimal I don't care about that, there are endless fantastic dramas with no romance it's rather the fact that a ml obsessed with a fl does not a romance make. I actually need to see both characters fall in love to be able to invest in a love story because -I'm in the audience not on the stage so a ml being whipped by himself means nothing to me since I have zero interest in seeing myself as the fl.

Yes I don't mind spoilers, I've been reading some posts and what I'm getting is he almost died for her at least twice, left his sect who tortured him for it to be with her, basically adores her and would do anything for her but I haven't seen anything that shows moments like that from her side...
