I remember this movie because I don't think I've ever cried that hard or long over a movie. I can't even watch it over because I know I'll bawl. This movie is the main reason why I'm afraid to watch other A-movies like Koizora.

And as soon as I read Yoon Dae Hyung, I heard Kim So Hyun screaming his name all over again when he found out who was responsible for the death of his beloved. (I know it's random but it was funny at the time xD)
Is it just me or do ALL Asian actors have beautiful smiles? It's the first thing I noticed on entering into the drama world. One grin and I'm lost. I really can't choose because it would have to encompass them all. Based on my current obsessions, my top three best smiles would be Choi Jin Hyuk, Kim Hyun Joong, and Song Joong Ki!
You have no idea how hard it was for me to pick those three. But honestly, their smiles all are just so beautiful.
I've dropped since I saw Choi Suk Bin. Nothing against the actress but the character I detest mainly because she's a threat to the love between Ok Jung and Lee Soon that they built from episode 1. I don't want to see everything go downhill. I wish Ok Jung had taken Dongpyung's offer and gone to China with him.
Second male leads like #2 KILL me. Like they have me literally raging at the world for its injustice (*cough* Ji-hoo). In Shin-woo's case, not that much because there's so much that he did wrong. To be honest, I don't understand how a lot of the first male leads keep getting the girl. ESPECIALLY Baek Seung Jo in Playful Kiss. Granted he's a beauty like Kim Hyun Joong playing him but how on Earth does a girl keep chasing after a guy like that? It's the first drama I watched and I liked it but I don't get Oh Ha Ni. Not at all. I don't understand Geum Jan Di either though I did like Jun-pyo (but I think that's because Lee Min Ho is cute). I don't think there's been a drama where I've seriously whole-heartedly approved of the main pairing even if I did approve of the first male lead. Maybe I just need to watch some more dramas. So far, I've had a lot of second male lead syndrome cases.
I've been wondering about this drama for a very long time since one of the blogs I was following for recaps of Jang Ok Jung mentioned it. It sounds good but I've never watched a drama like this before and I don't want to start it only to drop it because it's happened to me a lot of times before.
A whole article dedicated to kissing? COOL!
This is one of the first things I realized on watching the different types of dramas. I've noticed the T-dramas are A LOT better with kissing scenes than the other two. As mentioned, Devil Beside You is FULL of kissing scenes that actually look real.
Though, we shouldn't use this classification of T-dramas as a whole, considering Extravagant Challenge/Skip Beat which was a Taiwanese drama where that one stingy kiss we got was a lip press -sadly. Then again, the actor doing the lip pressing was Korean so I'm not sure if this is a valid argument.
Anyway, while K-drama kisses are definitely lacking in passion with a few exceptions (which seem to involve Yoon Eun Hye like in Coffee Prince and Lie To Me), the circumstances of the kisses are usually romantic and despite the passion missing, it makes me squeal anyway (Playful Kiss honeymoon kiss!)
