On When a Man Falls in Love Jun 7, 2013
Well, finally this drama has ended and like many viewers here I feel a sense of relief. I will also avoid this writer from now on as I believe the major fault with this was the script from the start. The whole story was a real rollercoaster of emotions, with many moments which didn't make much sense.

OK in the end they managed to clean up a little bit of the mess they made, but the ride was not so much fun for me. The only aspects which saved this story were the good acting of most of the cast (well except for Shin Se Kyung of course who was frozen for 20 episodes)and the OST which was not too bad. I rated it 7 mainly for these two factors and because of the presence of Song Seung Hun thanks to whom I didn't drop it halfway through. Be prepared for a puzzling ride if you decide to watch it.

thanks for this guide, I'll make sure I watch something out of this. I only know Nino as a singer in Arashi and I simply adore his voice therefore he is also a brilliant singer.

I think your article gave me food for thought, so thanks a lot for writing it. I find myself actually agreeing a lot with the comment below written by Hadassa. I also started out with Jdramas and watched about 60 of them before turning to Kdramas (I haven't watched any Tdramas as yet). The emotions that I feel whilst watching Kdramas are really intense and I don't know if it is because the acting is so good and convincing, or because (most of) the plots are really well written, or because of the OSTs which are generally of very high quality. I never experienced this whilst watching Jdramas although I rated a few of them 10 mostly for their poetry and delicacy. As far as the kissing goes in both cases these scenes can be very frustrating especially after we witness so much angst before they occur...I would give them an even score as I find these representations totally unrealistic.

one of my favourite singles of Arashi is Face Down, however all the tracks of their last two albums are really, really good. I highly recommend them!

Of Asian music I am a fan of the Jpop group Arashi and I don't know any Kpop groups. :0)

Title Last Scandal
I enjoyed this drama which was on the whole a good romcom. I was very sorry to read that the lead actress died on the same year in which this drama was broadcasted and this factor made me watch the drama with a different viewpoint. The acting of all the cast was really good but I thought the story was very similar to others that I have watched in the past especially in Oh My Lady therefore I rated it 7. I can never get over how women in many Korean dramas are portraied as slow and weak.

I love this article...it's very funny and very well written!! I should have these type of conversations with my brain too, but sometimes I just consider dramas as fairytales, like Faith for example which is one of my favourites, never asking myself too many logical questions and just enjoying the ride. Well done! ;0)

I am also a big fan of Ha Ji Won and really liked all the dramas that I have seen with her so far as I enjoy her roles of a strong woman. I also appreciated Yoon Eun Hye in Coffee Prince, Lie to Me and The Vineyard Man but less in I Miss You. I only saw Moon Geun Young in Painter of The Wind and I thought she was really awesome in that drama.

I just finished this awesome drama. I found it fresh, funny and clever besides it being very, very romantic. A drama doesn't necessarily have to have cliffhangers, or particularly famous eye candy actors to be enjoyable and this one had a realistic and heart warming plot which made it really special. I found the lead actor very good and attractive too. I rated it 9 and will certainly watch it again whenever I will want to spend some fun and romantic moments.

Before I even consider watching this, I must know one thing... Does Song Joong Ki play a bad character? I don't…
not at all!!! He plays a really particular character, I am sure you will like him.

It will be very interesting to see him in this role after Bridal Mask and 7th Level. I am looking forward to this drama very much indeed.

Hi Bladey, yes I am enjoying it very much indeed and so happy that there are subtitles available finally!! The only problem is that some episodes have the Chinese subs underneath the English ones so it is difficult to read them, and besides this the story is very historically based so far(I am up to Ep. 6) but I want to hold on and see how it develops in the next episodes.

This is a great drama and I could see the writers were the same as the ones of Salaryman. The first three or four episodes could be a little offputting as they are a mixture of dramatic/over the top comedy parts, however after that the story and the plot get really good and very involving. I found it very clever and very, very well acted. Kang Ji Wan is really good here and so is Park Sang Min who plays the very convincing role of the villain. I highly recommend this and I rated it 9.

I agree that he was absolutely great playing Harry Borrison!! With this performance he really proved to be a great actor and I hope we will see a lot of him when he comes back from military service.
