Hi Winnie, yes I would like to watch this movie but I haven't really looked for it as yet. The fact that it's not possible to find it neither for downloading nor for streaming (I was going to watch it on streaming actually) is not good news. I will let you know if I find it eventually or I would appreciate it if you kept me updated if you find it before I do. ;0)

I really enjoyed reading this article as these are always issues that I have also asked myself many times...especially mysteries 1,2,6 and 7!! The way of eating and sleeping in Korean dramas has always amazed me...I also agree with the questions that Jellyfishdrama asks here below. ;0)

After finishing this drama I realized that I was wise to wait so long to watch it as I knew it would break my heart. In any case I admit that it is as good as its fame although one watching session in a lifetime is enough for me. It is overwhemlingly tragic as the main lead seems constantly persecuted by bad luck, however the acting by So Ji Sub here is absolutely fantastic and it really deserves to be seen. Overall I rated it 9 because it is truly a beautiful story.

fantastic article!! I also really liked and enjoyed all the instrumental OSTs that you listed here and I agree that they help very much in conveying particular feelings of the time. For what concerns Sad Run of City Hunter I liked it so much that it has been my cell phone's ringtone for quite a while now.

I found this drama to be quite original compared to the usual Jdramas. Initially it reminded me a lot of the American series Sex and the City and the Bridget Jones films but in the second half it took a turn of its own. In any case it was quite advanced in some scenes for Japanese standards and I thought this was a plus factor. The plot was intriguing because they managed to leave the viewer with a doubt until the very end and this was quite clever. I also thought the acting was very good and for all the reasons stated I rated it 8.

On Kamo, Kyoto e Iku. Jun 22, 2013
I found this drama interesting mostly because it dealt with an original plot as the running of a Ryokan in Kyoto. However besides the very well laid out touristic aspect of the story concerning the traditions of those places, I found the story itself to be rather weak. I would suggest this mostly as an enlightening cultural watch.

this is such an interesting article, thanks so much for writing it. I only saw this actress in Painter of the Wind and was very impressed with her so I am now curious to see her in her next saeguk Goddess of Fire. I was also very happy to read that she won an award for Painter of the Wind.

Title 9 End 2 Outs Spoiler
I enjoyed this drama a lot. The plot of such an amazing friendship between man and woman, which later developed into love, was very original and carried out extremely well. Nothing was forced or overly dramatic here, I particularly appreciated the fact that there were no roles of submissive pushover women or particularly arrogant male leads which happens often in Korean dramas. On the contrary the relationship between the main characters was incredibly easygoing, likeable and deep as they had known each other for so long. The atmosphere in this drama is great and my overall rating would be 8.5 but as this doesn't exist here I will give it an 8.

I totally agree about the Japanese and the Korean smiles!! I would have added Gong Yoo like Oly-Ka suggested in the Korean ones too.

Thanks for this article. Personally I am enjoying this drama more than usual mostly because I am finding it very 'open' and new compared to the usual Jdramas. Initially it reminded me of a combination of the Bridget Jones films and Sex and the City series(the bed scenes in this drama were a real surprise for me!), however now with the developing love triangle it is taking a route of its own. I am finding it easy going and pleasant to watch and I am looking forward to seeing how it will end.

The fighting scenes that I enjoyed the most out of the ones that you mention are definitely all those in City Hunter. However I agree with the comments below as I enjoyed the fighting scenes in Bridal Mask a lot too.

Title Romance Town
I totally agree with Fanchan2 here below as decided to drop this at Ep. 11 because I found the plot a bit boring. The original idea wasn't too bad and the acting was good but the writers focused on the most uninteresting aspect of the story, the greed for money rather than the romance, and I gave up.
