I remember there was one female character who kept beating her husband, and everyone thought it was hilarious. By my personal standards that's pretty bad, and not something I want to watch.
After a long hiatus, I finally decided to watch a C-drama again and came to the comment section to gather some…
I haven't started watching because I was "afraid" that in this type of drama there would be a lot of what you just described. I hated New Life Begins for the same reason. ๐ Anyway, now I know what not to watch.
He basically took her away and had 2 in 1 wedding & funeral LOL. It wasn't a serious wedding, and ML crashed the "wedding" anyway so it was never even mentioned after that one scene. You're safe, don't worry. SML will get a bit obsessive, but he won't be able to do anything.
- She was never with SML. ๐ And the marriage thing wasn't consensual, nor did it matter in any way, shape or form after that one scene. - ML died for FL, but he was basically only a tiny part of someone else's soul. After his death that part returned to its original owner and he had all of ML's memories.
I think I lost interest after what happened to Mu Jiu, and ever since then I've been struggling to finish it. I didn't even like Mu Jiu that much, but the whole sequence of events really pissed me off. I love the main leads and their relationship, especially Fan Yue (gosh, ARP is stunning in this role) and I will finish it, but I just wish I was enjoying it more. In fact, I enjoy it while I'm watching, but I have no desire to play the next episode afterwards. ๐ฉ
I'm still processing the ending, I think I need to rewatch it๐. But I feel bittersweet for TMS's end rn. Will…
I rewatched ep. 39 because of Feng Yao and TMS. It was so touching! ๐ญ
Yeah, I like it so far. The opening song is really nice, and Gong Zi looks like a type of character I will love. I plan to later check out some of his other works where he's a supporting character too. I'm smitten. ๐
Can someone explain what happened to Tian Mรฌng at the end?
He sacrificed himself to help MXL and ZM, while his past self from 10 000 years ago destroyed himself, believing the Book of Fate was no longer needed, since people would no longer have their destinies predetermined and would instead choose their own fate. Since the explanation was a bit vague, and TMS would need to stay alive for them to repeat everything again, I prefer to believe heโll be reincarnated rather than completely destroyed LOL
Such an in-depth description. Alot to process. But how's the romance and any love triangles?
The romance is great. FL falls first and chases after ML, but he starts reciprocating soon enough. There are no misunderstandings between them, they're loyal to each other, love each other and are willing to sacrifice themselves for each other. 2ML also seemingly likes FL, but his love isn't exactly purely romantic. I don't want to spoil too much, but he's kinda complicated and his reasons for chasing FL are unique. FL sets clear boundaries between them tho.
Im watching Bloody Romance now and it's so good! Wang Duo as Gongzi will entertain you so much, he is smart AF.
I've seen 4 episodes last night, but I couldn't completely focus because my head was still filled with this drama, lol. I do agree he is amazing there! And he looks so different. I love it!
I finally wrote my review, and now I can move on, I think. Watching this drama and talking to all of you has been such a joy. I donโt remember the last time I got so invested in a drama and I watch a lot of them. Anyway, thank you everyone!
Iโll still hang around this comment section, but I can finally focus on other dramas, lol.
My feeling for the last episode is just confused. The last arc was way too long because I skipped all of it. I…
He was trapped there for the next 10 000 years, same as the first time, because they had to make sure everything that happened before happens again. However, in the current timeline he is free (because 10 000 years have passed), and the person MXL meets in the last scene is DL ZM who 'merged' with XXC, but since he came to terms with everything and abandoned his revenge, he has a personality that is more like original ZM/XXC.
This is NOT me trying to invalidate other people's opinions, but I find it really interesting how differently we all view the same things. I've seen several people complain that there are too many side characters and that it slows down the main story. However, personally, I always had the impression that there were not many supporting characters at all. I even wanted to mention it in my review. ๐ The focus was mostly on the three main leads, with just 2-3 episodes dedicated to GQM & FLS, and that couple from 6000 years ago. Even then, it was all tied into the main plot. There was also Sang Qi, whose story was actually really interesting! Am I the only one who was surprised by how small the supporting cast was? Maybe itโs because I was also watching MM at the same time, where new characters pop up and die in almost every episode/arc, lol.
But anyway, I don't want to spam this comment section. Either way, I'm thankful I saw your comment, it saved me both time and frustration. ๐
That being said, I have to praise the episode in which Fan Yue dies. Both of them acted their hearts out, it was so good!
