About the couples and viewers reactions. I find it funny how many people online say Min Gyu should wake up and give up Jimin and notice Ji Young since Jimin does not like him back... Well, same can goes to Ji Young - she should wake up and start seeing all the other guys that like her and give up on Min Gyu 🤡 But in both cases it's easier said than done, it;s not like they can just decide to change their feelings. They both are set on one person and even tho they are "technically" opened for more posibilities, realistically speaking they are not lol

Ju Mi
I feel bad for Ju Mi because her personality does not really shine as a romantic interest in a group setting. She is rather independent and takes care of others well, she is not exactly shy etc. so it makes guys less interested in her. But once she does on a date, they see a different side of her. But that's the issue, since she gives more of a friend vibes in the house, she rarely gets the chance to actually show that other side on dates, coz she is not asked to go on many. That's when I wish the show would step in a bit. Like making them go on dates with someone they did not go on a date with yet. Or more of the random dates like the one with picking gifts. So we can get more opportunities to see different people interacting with each other.

Gyeo Re
He barely exists in last two episodes so it;';s hard to have any thoughts about him right now. He likes Ji Young, that's it.

Ji Won
Same as Gyeo Re 🤣 Also their small bromance is cute as fuck.

Hu Shin
I am not obsessed over him and Ji Min. They give me more of a close friends vibes. Like the flirting seems too comfortable, as if they feel ok doing it coz they know it won't lead to anything. Like the reason he sent the message to Jimin was literally not because he is interested in her, but because he was worried she would not get any lol I know that protectiveness can turn into romantic interest, but I just don't feel it here.

Jimin
I think she is moving on from Ji Won, but she is not set on any other guy yet. Simply because she was so focused on one, she did not truly consider others as a potential partner. I'm curious how she will act now. Also, when Ji Won starts to be more present (since he said he has 3 shifts left only).

Yi Su
She knew. No thoughts. She picked Hu Shin for obvious reasons, who the fuck would she pick if not him 🤣 but I kind of like their "set up", really kdrama like.

random thoughts as I watched episode 6

Outfits check:
Guys look all the same. Looking great in suits, but there is little to no diversity on their formal clothes 🤣 I actually like Hu Shin's semi-formal take more - love suits with t-shirts.

Ju Mi looks STUNNING! I love the simple white dress on her! She legit looks both elegant and cute. Great pick.
Jimin looks amazing, but the dress is so basic. With her body it does look great, but not memorable. Kind of like going clubbing style.
Ji Young looks amazingly cute. While the dress is not my style, it perfectly fits her. The semi-high neckline with her shirt hair is perfect.
Yi Su's dress tho! OMG I LOVE IT. It's both a "tight" fits and flowy! ❤️

Also, I love that the guys were mostly chill with Ju Mi, but then all nervous when other girls joined. I feel bad for Ju Mi, but at the same time I prefer watching them just being more natural around each other than all the tense shy stuff 🙃

Damn watching how awkward they are when she joined them... I always struggle with the initial group setting scenes in dating shows. Coz I'm more of the person to lead the conversation and make people feel more at ease, so seeing them all tense and awkward and not one person taking the initiative to make it more chill is just PAIN 😅

I like the whole ass story of Hu Shin and Yi Su. From her knowing about him before the show, them meeting in the neighborhood, the phone searching. It's all cute 😊

I like Jimin and Min Gyu a lot too. She is really bubbly and he is more reserved I think they match well together. That said, the whole "not telling others they are going out that day" was such a fucking dumb idea. Everyone knows what this show is, it's not weird they would hang out after work/school. It made is so much weirder to hide it. Especially when they got caught so they had to their keep lying and making it awkward, or admit they were hiding it which would make it all seem weird as fuck. IT'S FUCKING BOVIOUS THEY WOULD ASK WHERE THEY WERE SINCE THEY GOT BACK SO LATE 🤡

Ju Mi needs to step the game up coz omg she did not exist in this episode and literally no guy is into her right now 🥲
Also... watching preview... she does not exist in it either. I want to see her on a date with Hu Shin. Just out of curiosity how he would behave around her.

It would be better to have a short written statement as the opening shot and remove any scenes with the team, instead of making them apologize during the shoot and leave in front of everyone. Making it short and moving past would be better than making it this dramatic and public for the guys. This whole scene just made all the viewers uncomfortable, and I don't think any entertainment show wants the viewers to feel like that. It was so hard to enjoy anything about that episode after.

I don't think the thought through the benefits tbh. Some benefits were useless and had literally no impact on the rankings. The judges were even surprised how insignificant they were.

I don't think going by luck is fair in terms of competition like that. Coz then they don't measure the skill, they measure how lucky the groups are ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Having so many experienced judges, at least for me it would be more fair if the songs were assigned by them to fit the groups' skillset.
Coco Colada is the best example - personally the pre-chorus part is a bit painful to hear because none of the members is comfortable with that pitch and it all sounds strained af. It's obviously a song that would fit a group that focuses more on vocals, but the team that got it ain't it. So while I loved the performance itself, I don't really listen to the song alone.

The reason is they don't have enough time to creat them. < That's a production mistake. Other survival shows manage to plan their shows in a way they have time to produce good songs.

They don't put enough emphasis on important things, but overexplain some basic ones...

This might sound weird, but damn suffering on screen fits Yun Xi so much 🥲

Honestly speaking, unless the purpose of the story is to explore current socio-political issues in an exaggerated version of post apocalyptic scenerio, i don't think shows like that need that much world-building. I don't think this show tried to do that, it was just a fun post-apo entertainment hahahah

Is there a lot of overlap right now? Sure.

But we need to remember we are only 5 episodes in out of 16. A lot can happen.
Some people did not even have a chance to have a private conversation. I think only after new girl joins anything will start to solidify. They all still need to explore their options and see who they like the most, who are they just curious about etc.

Best example is Ju Mi and Mingyu - he did not even consider her an option because he was 100% sure she is not interested in him. Now that they had a chance to talk, things might change. And the same applies to everyone.

I was scared I would not like it, because even before I started watching I was already hesitant coz of all the hype and popularity of this movie 🤡 Luckily I did end up liking it a lot

Lee Sun Woo and Cha Young Jin are canon couple in my head 🤣
I also agree how the characters and their relationships were the best aspect of the drama. Loved all the good guys - be it main characters or supporting ones.

That said... I was actually not amazed by the villains. for me they were rather cliche and a bit too exaggerated un presentation. For me, they were the weakest aspect of the whole show 🥲

he was definitely not 100% to blame for becoming this psycho< about this, none of the psychos are 🤣 be it more biological or social factors that made them this way, in all of the cases, it's not really their choice 🤡

Totally agree! The villains were not only the weakest, but just... weak writing. You can have weaker elements that are still good, but here the bad guys were just... so empty and cartoonish. At the same time the good guys were all so well written, even the supporting characters had more depth and were more realistic than the bad guys 😅

it started actually quite decent, but literally led to nowhere 😅

i rather see it as him being a willing tool for her to catch the bad guys, but on a few conditions (for example going as "legal" as possible and not hurting innocent people.

Her issue is not her not being as smart as she think she is, but rather underestimating others. If she starts to see ithers as capable, she would be more or less unstoppable.

also, Ro Um kind of has no right to be angry at other kids for being part of her parents dying, she was literally the one who told them that no matter who might die, they just have to follow orders. But now that it was her that was screwed over, now it's wrong and she wants revenge 🤡

I am so done with the 4th wall breaking. It's just so poorly done in terms of blending it into the story and the scenes. Especially since she always explains extremely basic things so these small monologues towards viewers are pointless and bring nothing of value.

I also have a bit of an issue with Han Moo Young's presentation. For someone with such a high level of empathy he truly does not give a flying fuck about his co-workers and how his actions might affect the whole firm 🤡I think it would be far more interesting if they actually showed how conflicted he is, because his goals are at times contradicting and whatever he does, someone might get hurt.

Also... damn why is everyone so unlikable lol 😅

tiny correction, technically speaking psychopathy is not recognized officially as a disorder, antisocial personality disorder is. But then the whole categorization is all messy, coz some differentiate between antisocial personality, psychopathy, sociopathy, some add sub-clinical psychopathy to the mix, some researchers say most of these are names for one and the same disorder ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ but yeah, disorder wise, if she has one (I'd say she does lol), it would be antisocial personality disorder, since psychopathy colloquially speaking (as it is used by most characters) is more of an umbrella term for many asocial and antisocial behaviors.
