If she was smarted she would not need anyone's help tho.
ML would become useless and Go Yo Han would be gone after episode 2 because she would deal with him. Also, since everyone else is a "normal" person, not as smart, the show would end in like 4 episodes. We need to see her fail few times and get help from others to fill these 16 episodes. The drama is only interesting if the good and bad guys are on a similar level.

The fl is supposed to be SMART.Then why the hell she carries her big and very sus looking money bag, with her,…
I mean... pretty sure she is not suppose to be a genius, just have photographic memory. It's not the same. Also her having said skil and antisocial tendencies is exactly the reason she is so careless. People like that think they are invincible and can do anything they want and get out of any issues. It does not really cross their mind they might fail. This is also why most psychopaths that gets caught gets caught - they acted careless because they thought they are more capable than they truly are.

[episode 7]

An episode that mixes fictional drama with documentary?

Surprisingly good mix. I could sense how proud Koreans are about their bread and bakeries. I also liked how this time Park Ha Kyung was not the main character, but rather joined us as a viewer and the focus shifted to a little adorable girl and her search for the bread. Soft and relaxing story. I appreciated the dramas take on a controlled freedom of kids - teaching them how to be proactive and responsible while make sure they are safe.

[episode 6]

Rather than a specific topic, this episode made me think about different issues with simple lines of dialogues and scenes. How we are so used to working, it's not off limit to work even on our days off. How we are never fully sure if we are doing a good job. If our good intentions and good deeds always have positive effects of people we want to help. How adults never consider the happiness of the youth, but rather the plans they made for their "good future". Small questions that can lead to hours of reflections.

[episode 5]

"The search for new knowledge will always continue"

And the time to try something new will never pass. Another great episodes I related to. Sometimes it feels like you should not enjoy life and have fun if you are an adult - everything is not appropriate for your age. There are many social norms and everyone has a clear picture of what a "typical" adult looks like and how they behave. But no one is truly "typical" in all areas of their lives, and it's fine to step out of the line. You are never to old to seek happiness. And sometimes happiness comes to us when we forget the plans, norms and give into contingency.

Yep, episode 2 still good.
When FL talks to the viewers? Still annoying. I honestly think this is the only aspect of the show I dislike.

I adore Yoon Park's character and I love his dynamics with Ro Um. Hope they will become buddies. They have such a strong best friends potential.

They did a better job with the transition between fun con and serious drama tones.
Like how they are slowly building up the story and the context of everything that is happening.

Curious how they will deal with FL antisocial tendencies. I'm fine with what ML said at the end of the episode, but I'm worried how they will manage to execute it in a realistic manner.

It throws me out of the viewing. I wish they could stop that.
same. probably the only thing I did not like about episode 1 and 2. It seems just too out of place. The one it soo light con comedy compared to all the other scenes.

Never judge a drama by ep 1, 99% are super boring on 1st ep πŸ˜…not until like ep 3-5 things happen
I mostly drop dramas that fast if i don't like the style of directing and that you know real fast.
Also dramas have unique "vibes" and sometimes i don't vibe with the vibe 🀣

It's been a long time since I've been this interested and engaged while watching Korean mainstream drama!
Why is this so good!
Also this cast has literally all of my favorites I am crying.

All that said... I am no sure how I feel about the 2nd half. The tone shifted so drastically. Like... I still love it, but it's completely disconnected from everything that was shown in the first half of the ep πŸ˜…

One thing I for sure disliked - breaking the 3rd wall... damn that was just... unnecessary.
One thing I liked a lot - I have no idea what are the motivations of the two leads. No clue. going into it would even reading synopsis might have been one of the reasons lol But I also think they are doing a good job with going against my expectations of what I thought the characters would do based on their set up.

Yoon Park is the cutest shit ever.

The song at the end of the ep? BOP!

Episode 4

Not gonna lie, this episode made me angry, especially "How can you be that selfish?" line. It made me feel pissed off, but in a good way - that was a deliberate choice of topic and presentation to evoke these emotions. XXI century, 2023, and yet the pressure women face to have kids for the benefit of others is still there.

That said, the episode tackles a broader topic of glorification of your own generation and vilification of the other generations. Disregarding someone else's struggles, while exaggerating the issues you had to face in the past. As if pain and hardships can be truly objectively evaluated and compared.

The ending at first made me feel a bit uncomfortable, but after thinking about it - it was the correct direction. At the end of the day: do we want to fight who is the biggest asshole with the strongest opinion, or do we want to put aside our differences and focus on helping each other. Someone has to make the first positive step. Instead of thinking: why it has to be me?, we should consider: why can't it be me?

Episode 3 is such an fucking 10/10 episode I cannot.

The presentation of the building curiosity after someone catches your attention, and then you start seeing and meeting them in random places. The accidental meetings made my heart flutter, maybe because the presentation is truly realistic - nothing exaggerated. When both of the characters start to be more and more aware of the fact they keep crossing paths, it's hard not to get curious where is will lead. I could not stop smiling even for a second. I loved everything about this episode. Probably my favorite piece of media (directing wise) I have seem this year. Perfection till the literally last scene.

"But now, even expressing like seems overwhelming"

obviously with his home situation he did not exactly have an environment that taught him how to deal with and express emotions in a good manner. What is good is the fact he is able to see that and he apologizes.
Also, as for the last scene in episode 4 I think his reaction was quite valid...

[episode 1] Probably one of the best first episodes I have seen in 2023. Perfect introduction to the character.…
[episode 2] Great follow up after episode one, that invites you to take a look at your life, past goals, dreams and paths you chosen. Episode 2 opens the door for both self-reflection, but also made me wonder what is the role of an educator, how much the adults should dictate the paths of the youth based on their own understanding of the world, and who should take the responsibility for the failed dreams.

Should we keep going even if we see no success?
What is success?
Should we even strive for success, or is just doing what we love enough?

All that in the short under 30 minutes episode. Great acting from Han Ye Ri as a struggling artist Yeon Joo was a cherry on top.
