but I agree, most CGI here was questionable at best π€£
I just said I have it, nothing else π
I mean, go for it. A lot of people loved or at least highly enjoyed the show, you might end up being one of them. For me it's just personal preference, since the few criticisms it gets are the things I care about in show (if I watch the show for the plot and character and not trash entertainment, coz I do enjoy some poorly written ones too hahaha)
I'm not bragging, as I don't see getting a degree in psychology as something to brag about, in a country that has a free education. I'm just stating that I have some knowledge and experience in the field, so the reasoning of watching the show to learn about ASD is not a selling point for me. You added some weird additional hidden agenda to it.
"so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it" I am commenting on the audience reaction (which I witnessed in the comment section) not the show itself, and how these reactions influenced me to not watch the show by the end of the day π
I mean, with your attitude, this conversation is pointless anyway, since you don't really reply to what I say anyway...
I just clarified that the idea of watching the show to get to know ASD is not something appealing for me, since I already have a knowledge in that area Β―\_(γ)_/Β―
If the only well written and developed character is the one lead, that's poor writing in my book. Whenever it's a FL or ML (would be just as not interested in the show if it was ML as an only center, and everyone around him a 1 dimensional support).
"if you need a well developed male character to make the female lead interesting," never said it. You are not responding to what I am saying, but what YOU THINK I mean. This is not a way to have a productive discussion.
Character does not have to be a core of the cast to be well written Β―\_(γ)_/Β― I don't know, maybe I have higher standards or something.
And you just by an accident made me less interested in the show. If best friend gets the same treatment... it's again proves that the only well developed aspect of the show is FL π
My first line of the comment literally says - "so this comment is not about the show, but rather audience reaction to it". I'm not judging the show per say, but rather how the comment section presents the show to people who have not seen it yet.
Damn it's not that deep. There are new shows dropped ever day, I'm not going to check them all out coz who knows, maybe I will like them. I check few comments, see what people say, how people react to the positive/negative aspects, and then decide if the show is worth the try or not.
The topic being this close to my background means nothing Β―\_(γ)_/Β― I watch shows for entertainment purpose, not as a research or education on the on screen representation.
but yeah, I think I will skip this one. With the amount of new content from all the countries, there is no need to start a drama with hopes MAYBE I will like it.
What I gathered from the comments - Young Woo is a "fix it all" character, as she was given as a respons to a lot of criticism people have. For example: Someone says there is a poor characters development? I don't see people explaining how it's not true. I see people saying BUT Young Woo had an amazing development. So what you are saying, all the rest of the characters did not?
And then every week I saw people complaining about how Joon Ho is barely a character and he only exists for Young Woo, BUT it is Young Woo's story "so it's fine". That's just poor writing. Female character were used for male characters background and character development for years, I'm not here for the same poor quality writing of the characters, just reversed. I thought we were slowly moving away from it π
I waited for the show to end, to see the reactions and then decide if it's worth watching. but the impression I get from the comment section is - the show goes from mediocre to decent, BUT Woo Young Woo is AMAZING... not exactly encouraging.
The way he was completely clueless his behaviour might be taken as flirting and where it led π€£
I kept saying to the screen - "please don't" omg hahahahahaha
I was joking when I said "pay in nature" π€‘π€£
But then the shit happened.
A character going "I'm bi", yes thank you. Like, by the history of BL characters, I would say most of them were bi, but rarely ever we get them actually say it. More often it's like "I don't like guys, I only like you" if they had a previous history with girls too.
And then... I SAW THAT HAND GOING DOWN TO THE PANTS PAYU! STOP RIGHT THERE YOU UNHOLY CHILD!
also, how many times this dude has to say "no" for Payu to fuck off? π€£π€£π€£π€£π€£
This shit cute, I had fun, yes bring me more.
Also Sky is so fun I cannot wait for his love line to start π€£
