Review The Sound of Magic Spoiler
So, Hwang In Yeop drop out the school? How about his parents? They will never accept his choice right?
It's never shown tbh, it's left on rather open note in that aspect.
I guess just the fact he was able to drop out means it's not completely lost cause. But realistically speaking, it will be hard for them to accept it...

When the parrot said: "잘생겼다. 잘생기면 다 오빠" I died, coz that's our feeds' motto after all 🤣
How we ended the reviews on more or less the same note - great minds think alike 😊

Title KinnPorsche
No one is incapable of love not even the cruelest, most wicked people not to mention it's a mafia bl so they aren't…
I mean... psychologically speaking... there are people incapable of loving others. Love comes from brain, if your brain ain't working well in that aspect, ain't no love 🤣 (completely not related to the show tho hahaha)

lmao why is the 'shooting' censored?? looks like something else
Korean title: 별똥별
별 - star
똥 - poop
so basically it's a pun. It's both shooting star and ⭐💩⭐
They clean 💩 after celebrities

HAHAHA I legit misread the title as "Shitting Stars" and thought that's why it was censored. I was like "wow Korea…
it's a pun, if you separate the syllables in Korean title it will literally be ⭐💩⭐

So when I saw your post on feeds I finally watched this after having it on ptw for so long. When you mentioned…
I did not expect to like the movie as much as I did.
The dynamics between all the characters were so real and raw. LOVED IT.

Always nice reading your well-written reviews. I've seen a number of movies in this vein, but most either leave…
yeah, this one was truly well balanced!
The adventure montage was for sure visually speaking my favorite part, and the storytelling was sooo amazing!

I think the issue is, you are the minority of people who acknowledged the issue, and if you read the comments,…
To cut it short: OP said "Acknowledge the issues and enjoy the rest" to which I said that it's a problem that only minority of viewers do acknowledge there was an issue with how they presented Africa in the drama, and that most mdl users watching the show either completely ignore it or defends the show as if they did nothing wrong nor problematic. The numbers I gave in the reply to you backs it up - out of all 13k viewers majority stay silent on the issue on mdl, and from the ones that do speak up only maybe a half says it was a problematic aspect that should be discussed and called out.

I'm one of the people who did call it out shortly after the episodes aired.

I don't think you have many brain cells left to lose with how you completely misunderstood my comments and decided to use personal attacks.

I don't care what's going on on twitter, I'm talking about comment section on mdl. 13,671 viewers, most are not even vocal in comment section at all about anything. From the ones that are, it's now close to 50/50 on what the reaction is - saying it was wrong, or saying it's not a big deal. Viewers on mdl wise, it is minority.

Putting the Africa issue aside, comment section is a place to share both negative and positive views on the shows.…
that would be best. It's not on the people writing comments to please other people. If you get emotionally affected by comments here, would be best to stay away.

There is only one thing I truly dislike about this drama and it's this comment section page. Leave it alone, people,…
Putting the Africa issue aside, comment section is a place to share both negative and positive views on the shows. It's the same story under every drama - people not wanting to see any negative comments or criticism, which is just a ridiculous expectation to have.

The same way people who like the show can write 1000 basically same comments how much they like it, the same way people who has issue with a show can write 1000 basically same comments.

fun fact you are still allowed to enjoy media with problematic elements. Nothing is problem free. Acknowledge…
I think the issue is, you are the minority of people who acknowledged the issue, and if you read the comments, most people who were vocal on it and enjoys the show says there was nothing problematic and people needs to chill out and move on.

I'm one of the people who vocally criticized the show for the Africa scene, but I will also keep watching for now, coz even tho I'm not crazy about the main couple, I'm interested in a few characters. But most people just defends the show as if their life depends on it.

that's what i'm saying. Say for instance, your gonna write a research paper on a topic, are you gonna only highlight…
I mean if the drama is based on real events or real historical figures, that's a different story - research in needed.
But with silly fun rom-com, basic google search is enough.

go to other comment section under different drama if you are not happy with comments here ¯\_(ツ)_/¯it goes…
16 episode did not air tho. It's been two and the Africa was a part of both of them. And I did not see anyone dragging actors and actresses - only complain about the writer, director and the tv station.

But there are also people who still watch the show, enjoy everything EXCEPT from the Africa issue. It's fine to criticize and point out things we don't like in dramas that we still watch.

I mean, this comment section is quite entertaining and I have a day off work. I can find both reasonable people to discuss with, and few folks to laugh about ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

"why dont u try and relax" could also apply to your initial comment, again it goes both ways.

why this comment under this drama and not a BL drama tho 🤣
I call out issues surrounding my country on platforms that have people from my country - this way they hit the people that should read them.

I never claimed to be educated about East Asia based on watching dramas. I am criticising a behavior that has nothing to do with the specific culture. All countries have ignorant people, all countries should try to educate each other and themselves.
