aesthetic were truly good. For a short drama like that, I took quite a number of screen shots. That was probably my favorite part. I truly enjoy the aesthetics that are similar to web dramas and smaller production shows.

I was laughing the whole time watching the cart driving date. It made no sense in the context of who the characters are 🤣
I honestly had a little bit of expectation because it was collaboration with Thailand, and they are the leading country for BLs at the moment. Rather than lower quality than other k-BLs, I was expecting some improvement because of that collaboration 🙃

Can't lie I think both sides of the people here are acting pretty stupid. First off the people thinking it's complete…
Can't talk for others, but I brought in my comment Taxi Driver not because it's a drama I personally disliked, but rather because it's completely different from this show (in any aspect one can think of) while also dealing with crime - and ALL people who wrote lower rated reviews for Through the Darkness rated this one high (2 out of 3 giving it 10).

So it made sense for me to use that drama as an example to point out that if someone's taste is rather action packed, fast pace exciting thrills, it's obvious they will most likely dislike this one.

I prefer slow paced shows, so this one fits my taste quite well :)

Here's the thing, I'm pretty sure people who disliked the show are downvoting the higher rated reviews. No other reasons for reviews with more upvotes to be lower than the ones with less 🙃

Wonderful review, as always. I agree wholeheartedly, this drama made me more emotional than I had anticipated.…
I was not expecting to cry while watching, and yet it happened quite a few times.

I get this is not for everyone, but people wanting some unrealistic Taxi Driver type of thrills from a show that is based on a non-fiction book is a bit...

For me it was fascinating because it was so close to reality. It was not just a fictional character that went through some action that has no place in real life. It's a story that made me think: someone really suffered so much for others to feel safer.

I can totally see why this would be extremely boring for some people.
Just wish they did not waste the time on watching something they will most likely not enjoy.

it's extremely good. And knowing it's based on a non-fiction book AND
Kwon Il Yong was actually involved in the drama production just makes it so much better. Coz you watch it with the thought - it's not just over the top fiction. Someone truly went through it all.

I feel like Ki Mo Ran is going to use Woo Hyun to make the President cheat on his wife. smh
Pretty sure she looks like his past lover that died or something.
If they go with Woo Hyun divorcing her husband, being a mistress to to the boss WHILE having an affair with the PD, this is gonna be a ride 🤣

Title Twenty Five Twenty One Spoiler
When Ji Woong gave Hee Do his history book so she will not be punished, for 0.5 seconds I went "awwwwww", but then I connected the dots and went: this sly fox 🤣

There is one thing I love about this show: how girls are supportive and nice. From that "failed to fight bully" scene, Hee Do wanting to be Yu Rim's rival not because she is jealous of her skills, but because she respects her and her skills, how Hee Do was all "damn you are awesome" when talking with Seung Wan about her being 1st in the school. It's so nice to see.

Sad to say, but how Baek Yi Jin dealt with the bullies is the only way that could possibly work. Telling parents or school does not work, EVER. Why? Parents either are awful people themselves, or they will never believe their child could bully anyone. School just rather pretend the problem does not exist, than try to deal with it.

Whole vol. 12 of Full House scene: masterpiece!

I LOVE Baek Yi Jin. Yo, he is such a sweet dude. A+ , more male leads like him.

Also, minor shit, but OMG THANK YOU FOR MAKING THEM SWEAT/LOOK LIKE THEY SWEAT. I hate when in dramas people work out and they have like one drop of sweat on their face, while still having perfect hairstyle etc.

Both Hee Do and Yi Jin, and Yu Rim and Ji Woong are adorable as fuck, my cheeks hurt from smiling.

It was so obvious it was Yu Rim that Hee Do was chatting with! LOVE IT. Yi Jin does not seem like a guy who would look for friends online, and he is too busy with real life problems for it.

Damn I am enjoying it A LOT. Appreciate how there won't be a love triangle (most likely). Coz that was something I was afraid they would include.

They both don't know they are chatting with each other.
At the beginning they explained how they decided to not share any personal information that could lead to one of them finding how who the other is.

Title Thirty-Nine
I’m not sure what I was expecting, but episode one was not it. I’m in the minority of viewers who agree this…
There is a difference between being mature and responsible in your professional life (as they are in this drama) while letting more immature side show up when you are literally having fun with your friends and being immature in all aspect of your life, not knowing how to handle problems and real life situations.

The only truly questionable thing is Chan Young's situation, but the drama was CLEAR she is in fact in wrong here, and she herself knows it. But it's not like by the age of 39 you became emotionless person who relies on rationality only.

I'm appreciating how the drama shows you can be professional is your working environment while not having a stick in your a** in the personal life. I appreciate how the drama shows there are no limits in making mistakes and learning is a process that takes the whole life. Even by 40 you can mess up and have to deal with the consequences it had on you and people around you.
