I mean there are dramas I naturally drop because the story was just not interesting to me specifically. I started…
I started of liking the description presented to me but as I watch, I am just like eh < basically the idea was good but the execution was bad. Sadly, happens quite a lot :(
cute fluffy drama in between to detox from the heavy dramas < definitely. + watching only the dark dramas all the time might be boring too. They often use similar plot lines and tropes. We need to mix the genres to get the most out of viewing experience :D

I'm a film student so I ALWAYS finish shows in order to try and learn something from them LOL. Even if I don't…
yeah, but that's a unique situation you are in haha you can learn what not to do as a film student. Me, as a casual viewer: nope lol I;m out. Bye haha.

When my drama world was just filled with kdramas, dropping was very rare for me. I disliked the idea of dropping…
skipping and faster speed is something I use too! I just feel like my brain works fast, so normal speed is too slow for me. I need a lot of stimuli to be happy hahaha

I can’t do it , I feel too guilty dropping a show. I mean a group of people worked so hard to produce this content.…
Let me try to make the guilt smaller. If you go to a restaurant and they give you under cooked food, or something so nasty in taste: would you eat it? would you also feel like so many people worked on it? Or if you paid someone to paint your house but they did terrible job with the first room, would you not complain and change the worker for the rest of the house? Same with dramas. You are a customer, so you can pick and chose what you watch. These people don;t do charity work, it;s their job. They spent a lot of time DOING THEIR JOB like all the other people on the planet. No one gets free pass if the result of their work is bad, so why should we treat actors, screen writers and directors to different standards?
At least this is how I see it ;)

I thought I was the only one dropping a few...Lol! A few at the first and others at the 2 or 3 ep...If I have…
oh, I hate melo too! Koreans tho, they are so good with mixing comedy with melo, I hate them hahaha They start with some sweet, lighthearted comedy, to lead to disaster by the end. It often happens in movies.

oh, Designated Survivor is one of my favorite dramas from 2019. I was not into it after first 2 or 3 episodes,…
Chicago Typewriter is one of my favorite dramas hahaha tho I hard time first few episode when it was airing. But now I can rewatch it and not feel bored at all.
Cheese in the trap tho... I feel so frustrated. They had such an interesting ML but they dropped him half way through the show to focus on SL... and there was nothing innovative about Inho...

I refuse to be bored. I will drop and not feel bad at all; however, usually I will try to either skip to the parts…
I refuse to be bored < this! That's why I am willing to watch REALLY bad shows. Hate watch it extremely entertaining and frustration makes me feel alive haha but if a show is boring... drop. I cannot. I go crazy when I'm bored.

Wow. I don't have the heart to drop the dramas. I generally keep them on-hold and forget about them. That's my…
I was the same, my on hold was LONG. One day I dropped everything on there and now I have no problem dropping shows anymore hahaha

I feel you. New dramas are introduced like every month and here I am with a long list of Asian dramas waiting…
Skipping is good, but if I skip too much, I can't really rate it nor add it to a completed list. If I skipped over 50% of the scene... can I say I truly watched the show? hahaha + this year I'm writing reviews for everything I finished watching, so writing a review for a show where I skipped a lot would be impossible. BUT we all do what works for us, if it works for you: awesome :)

The number one reason I drop is when the male lead is too big of an A-hole and I wouldn't wish him on anybody…
I think characters are the most important part of the show for me too. I am more willing to watch a mediocre plot with good characters over good plot with mediocre characters.

Your experience sounds rather similar to mine especially at the beginning (although I wasn't a teenager then)…
yeah, nothing worse than dropping the show half way through. Coz they were good enough for you to watch them for there 8 hours (or less/more depending on the number of episodes) but then disappointed you later...

I always give it six episodes usually I find I 3 isn't a fair shot. The plot is often being laid out the first…
that's a good system, and awesome if it works for you :)

I have a 3 episode rule. If I'm not hooked by episode 3, or if I start getting bored by episode 3 then its a drop…
fair rule. I have: "I don't feel it", whenever I feel like this drama ain't for me: I drop it hahaha

oh, Designated Survivor is one of my favorite dramas from 2019. I was not into it after first 2 or 3 episodes, but later I got addicted! It has amazing set of characters. The Heirs tho... how did they get such a cast to do this show is beyond me hahaha

You know that feeling when the plot is hella boring but you're curious about one or two aspects so you keep going?…
yeah...I had it once with Love with Flaws. I was only interested in the plot line of the middle brother... so I watched only his scenes lol After the drama finished airing I have put it in dropped list tho, since I skipped good 80% of the whole show hahaha

Oh... my mood goes where the drama I watch goes. I might not be in the mood, but if the drama is good and my type I will start being in the mood in 5 minutes from starting watching it :)
And omg yes for the flashback. I am not main lead for a drama, I don't have amnesia, I don't need for them to remind me what happened few episodes ago lol

As I said, the ending wasn't bad. Plot wise I loved what they did. I was just expecting... more of an epic last fighting scene since all the previous fighting scenes were shot in a beautiful way. I thought they will do something special by the end.

Haha... My “Drop” list is also getting longer quick. MDL should have a “Skip episode” list LOL. I think…
yeah... well... I sometimes use notes to write if I skip episodes, but it;s usually for variety shows, if some eps are simply not subbed so I can't watch them hahaha

When I decide to try again, I will for sure message you for recommendations hahaha

and I like the "less proper, more friendly and approachable" style tbh. It's easier and more entertaining to read :)

okay, I have to say I do learn some interesting stuff from your articles. + I love your writing style. It feels like you are talking to me, and not just writing the info you want to share. It's friendly and entertaining! :D

I feel like I should give lakorns one more chance... but this will have to wait until I finish (or drop again) Nirvana in Fire hahaha
