The first thing that got me distracted was the feeling of the initial scene. Suspense. And backstory. They threw it just like that and it was intense. I noticed how Ahn Na imitated the sisters hands when she was walking with then after being left there. Details.
It’s interesting how they showed a lot of Ahn Na’s backstory at the beginning and at the end of the episode but we don’t actually know her personality, just her history. In the other hand, from JCW’s character we saw a lot of his temper, intelligence and abilities but we know just the tiniest bit of his past.
Did you notice how Ji Chang Wook and Yoona barely talk in all the episode, yet they managed to tell so much through their acting? (with the help of the editing but still)

I just finished watching ep.2. What really caught my eye was the conversation between Hyang and Sung Yeol. She…
I kind of read, because my Chinese is really bad, but the Gwi turning her into a vampire is in the manga, it is that in the manga everything is different, has some parts similar to the drama, as they in the water, he saving it in the forest, he discovered that she is a girl, but has character that has the manga, as his first love and her family, and also her story, she is rescued by a blind lady and she had three brothers and her father, they were killed accused of treason and also a hunter in the manga.
