I’ve just started watching and I can’t stop thinking about it how Kohei reminds me of Chinese actor Zhang Linghe. Not all the time but at some angles the resemblance is so striking. Am I the only one seeing this?
To the ones who guessed that the ML knew the FL's mother: you were right. And she even recognised him at the wedding. Also…
At least 100 chapters 😂 This man’s definitely frustrated since smut made him so angry 😂 His mother made him avoid women at any cost, so there must be a lot hidden under that stiff appearance 😂
Despite having some often (over)used drama tropes, this one is definitely on the realistic side when it comes to characters and their personalities or decisions.
I’ve seen some comments saying that ML doesn’t deserve the FL because despite loving her he dated someone else. Like, hello, he had some crush on her when he was young but (probably) thinking he had no chance he just moved on with his life, I guess? He clearly liked the 2FL too but in a different way than the FL.
I know we’re quite used to some unrealistic tropes in Asian dramas in general, but hating on the character because it was realistic makes me think this expectations towards the protagonists became too high and even toxic. How can we expect something fresh from dramas expecting the same things from the characters.
I often jokingly say that the most unrealistic and fantasy characters are those in love and dating only one person throughout their entire lives.
This drama definitely took me out of the drama slump and I’m glad we can still get have something fresh for the very overused settings. I love characters with flaws and good character development, bring it!
