After ep6 I feel like he's not a simp but more like he realized his mistakes from the past and tries to make it…
From what I gather, he didn't really take into account what she wanted from life back then, but now he's doing his best to support her dream of having a TV show, while still keeping his own goals in mind (even his business partner was surprised how prepared he was with that investment, initially thinking he's just recklessly risking it all for her). It's clear that she's always been ambitious, and he may have been a bit immature or not as driven as she was to fully understand that at the time. We will eventually find out what's this all about.
That's the first time for me that there are any time airing differences, it clearly already aired in China almost 2 hours ago but still not available on my WeTV (either desktop or mobile app, I checked like a minute ago). Well, there always has to be this first time, sadly ;)
Was excited for this, but the ml seems spineless and total simp after watching 3-4 episodes, nothing new at all…
After ep6 I feel like he's not a simp but more like he realized his mistakes from the past and tries to make it up somehow... And I hope I am right about it, because, well, that would be interesting.
It's past 7pm CST and still no new episode available on the WeTV international app, that's why I am asking. Looks like it can have different air schedule.
So what’s the misunderstanding that pushed the leads apart? This thing is only 24 episodes long; they can’t…
I don’t think it was the misunderstanding in the first place, what I think and understand from the context is that at that time they wanted different things. He wanted her to do it all “for love” including sacrifices, she was focused on her career. They also both clearly changed since their break up (FL mentioned it a couple times when talking about e.g. ML’s impulsive attitude from the past).
We know that after the break up he called her many times but she didn’t answer. Then she tried to call him but he was the one not answering. But then during interview he mentioned he never heard back from her since the break up. That’s the whole mystery here 🤔
7.7 scoreIs this drama good, bad, stupid?Been looking forward to it but once I see this score first thing on my…
7.7 is way too low. For me it should be more like 8-8.5 now, after episode 5. It’s well paced, chemistry between characters is really good, we get some comedy but also more serious topics (trigger warning: domestic violence). I’m genuinely curious about all 3 main couples, each of them have very different past and dynamics (and some secrets to be revealed, I guess ;)).
If it’s gonna keep the pacing and story written well, I may even end up really loving it. Promising, but I’ve learned this year in a hard way that a drama may be ruined in the middle/in the end 🥲
Just finished episode 5 and so far so good for me. I like the structure of episodes: flashback to high school -> present day -> future interviews during the show. Episode 5 gave me that feeling of warmth between 6 main characters, I am looking forward more of them working together on the screen ❤️
Since the whole series is full of metaphors and symbols (and my feeling for a 2nd season is similar), I very much…
Ohhhh, I love this theory too! I assume it’s just one big promotional campaign created by some mastermind. The more you dig in the more you can find to confirm that theory.
I have a theory that I reeeeaaalllyy want to believe in that the 2nd season was always planned and maybe even already shooted/during shooting, that’s why we have number 1 in the English title. 2nd season will have number 2 in it. Please, let me be delusional, I’m traumatized by this ending.
why do Chinese shows announce their release dates very late? Like k dramas or any other industry 's movies they…
One big difference between China and e.g. SK is censorship. It takes time, the outcome may impact the final number of episodes. From my observation, it looks like China is also more "tactical" about the airing time.
