Seems like ep 25 and 26 will be about Miaojing's mum....something tells me that she might pass, but idk. I mean, as long as we get Miaojing and Chenyi moments of them taking care of one another, I'm fine - I'm lowkey so deprived of their own moments outside of work😭

Idc bro. I'm staying here for the leads. For Song Weilong. For Zhang Jingyi. And hopefully for Miaojing and Chenyi to finally resolve everything and for the drama to fill us in with the info we need for the events in the past and what's soon to come. I guess right now it's just the need for patience in order to get the answers we need. But hey. We'll get there soon. I just hope they know how to execute it well and not ruin the experience. Give me all the angst, jealousy, and all, but let me experience some peace for the leads for once 😩

Only real thing I hate is that they air some of the most boring eps on the days where there's only 1 ep per day. I mean ep 24 wasn't bad.....but it was kinda a waste of time with how: the whole miscommunication situation of their's is still being dragged out till the next ep, and how her stupid damn mother had to fricking return back on screen....why are you here I swear....she's just so useless. Idk what her reappearance is used for, because it DEFINITELY doesn't seem to be used as a catalyst for Miaojing and Chenyi's relationship. Watch her pull out another "I'm broke and couldn't help but leave you" again.

Officer Zhou is honestly the only guy with the brains here, and so would Wenjie (if she were here 😔). It's always the most useless characters that get the screentime istg....her mum and that SML. Wish they just gave them the silent treatment and got rid of them quickly because it's really testing out the patience I'm holding onto. SML continues to get on my damn nerves as the eps come out, and the mother is so useless, I don't expect anything out of her other than abandonment again.

Can we you, just have Miaojing and Chenyi's relationship as a standalone plot without any other interference please 😩!! I understand that the whole auditor storyline is essential to the whole plot itself and will definitely be interlinked with what happened in the past, but the SML and the mother's appearance.....are they really that needed??

Like yes, there's romance, but it will only further develop once everything in the plot is settled: his ptsd and trauma, the company situation, footage from the past to reveal what really happened. The double standards in the media are honestly so annoying and I'm tired of seeing all this discourse and having to defend both sides. Can we you know, just let the plot take us on the ride? Can we just sit back and just enjoy what we have on screen? It's already so great and lucky that the we were able to have SWL and ZJY as the main leads for such a well known novel AND for such a well developed drama from a very talented team.

You ask for pure and realistic emotions, but once a drama gives you it, you criticise it for being too complex. We are humans after all and the drama perfectly portrays the complexity that innately sits inside us: we all make mistakes anyways. And plus, quite a lot of these scenes were improvised by the cast themselves too in order to show a more realistic approach. Patience iskey for watching cdramas, let alone dramas as a whole, especially ones that have a complex storyline like this one. Let's just enjoy this moment in time as we're already so close to having it conclude (I'm already dreading the day we no longer have SWL and ZJY in the same frame every day 😭!!!)

Lowkey, if this is true, I'm pretty sure we'll see Miaojing and Chenyi FINALLY reconcile and be happy in ep 25, assuming from the house emoji on the airing schedule - could indicate that they've both finally clocked how no other can replace their home: each other. And boom. We'll probably be all fine after that 😌. Wishful thinking I know. Delulu as heck, I know. But hey. Can't help but be more invested in creating some storyline right? Trust me. Ok hear me out: I'm lowkey not that upset with the current situation around Miaojing and Chenyi because hey. At least they're getting more screentime TOGETHER right? But can that Cenye bro just gtfo because why is he getting SO MUCH SCREENTIME? What is it that he's got to do besides being a very heavy rival of Chenyi's?? And like he showed up for only like 1 chapter in the novel, so why are they giving him so much attention...??? Give him the same treatment as Tuli - though, I'd rather see her get more screentime than him because she's lowkey so chill and isn't much of an eye sore. And plus, what's with him? Like he's such a freak - wiping his hands everytime he comes in contact with Chenyi, wiping up the spots that Chenyi touches, then throwing his handkerchief away....does he have a freaking problem??

I'd like them to double the screentime for SWL and MJY because I'm sick of having to skip past the stupid scenes of the SML....it pisses me off. I'd rather see Miaojing and Chenyi constantly have a rocky and toxic relationship where they continue to banter and argue than see any of the second leads waste my time. I'm rewatching from the beginning again and couldn't help but miss the amount of screentime they gave for just Miaojing and Chenyi alone in the first 10-ish eps. Can I just see these two happy for once 😭

Update: I will still be eating this drama forever and won't be moving on AT ALL, especially since SWL and ZJY are definitely my top CP pairing of all time. I just need to see more of their characters communicating and solving their problems, as well as fill-ins for the past storylines.

+ why aren't we getting any Hi Saturday promotions 😔!! This drama is doing so well both in the mainland and internationally, so like literally, if they seriously want more money and exposure, they should allow SWL and ZJY to appear on Hi6 for promotion😭!! Ofc, both of them are quite under tight schedules right now, but Mangotv should have handled everything more professionally

Gotta be patient guys. I understand that it's frustrating, but then again I gotta remember that this is the same director as Lighter and Princess so we've just gotta wait for the process - the absolute frustration I felt during L+P airing was insane, but it wrapped up well enough so I still have so much faith put into this drama. Love SWL and ZJY so ofc I'm camping here forever. Unfortunately, patience is the key for watching cdramas, let alone dramas as a whole, especially ones that have a complex storyline like this one. Please, chill for a bit. I've seen so much heat on here, but like the tiktok, twitter, and insta stans are just ready to eat up every single ep.

Just hope we're able to speed things up a bit and get some proper communication. I want to know about the past fire. I want to know more about his past. But I guess we just gotta wait and brace ourselves. After all, while the auditor thingy is quite long and can be quite confusing, it plays a key part in the plot itself so we can't just ignore it. I guess the main thing I'm hoping to see the most is some CLARIFICAION from them both 😭🙏!! Clarification on their part in their current situationship. I can see that they're definitely adapting the complications of their relationship that was portrayed in the novel, but you know. Can they let us chill for a bit and give us the actual happy moments? Honestly, all I need to hear is a "I love you" and I'm all done😌. And lowkey, the end of ep 23 may just be the pin point for Chenyi and Miaojing to finally reconcile - who knows??

This is really the only drama that I have right now and is what got me out of my short cdrama slump!! I've been waiting for WAY TOO LONG for this drama to come out so just let me enjoy my time caving into the depths of this drama😭!

Story aside, can I just say, gosh. The chemistry between SWL and ZJY is so damn good!! Their CP energy is eating so much, and I'm willing to indulge in it. Love how they're both so comfortable around one another and I adore their interactions!! Even after finding out that they would be reuniting again to film the spin off character show-thing, they were both so excited to see each other again (taken from an interview btw)! I hope we see this friendship flourish and maintained and cherished for a long time!!! I will never shut up about this pairing btw 😌🫰. Cdrama directors, you can see the vision - GIVE THESE TWO ANOTHER PROJECT TOGETHER PLEASE!!! If both Mainland Chinese and International fans are gushing over them and willing to eat up their pairing as many times as possible, you know....you could give them another script~~

We should you know, chill for a bit. The director is the same as for Lighter and Princess and I trust that the production team have everything sorted - storyline, flashbacks, etc. After all, the whole Zhang Bin thing plays quite a part in the story and is what caused all these problems from both the past and future so I can see why it's been taking quite some time to cover everything, but I do hope we get some alone time with the couple without it being work-related. I can't wait till the day when they settle 😌🙏. Give me those sweet moments of peace quickly!! Get them to communicate quickly!! Give me the scene of them on the sofa as their house is flooded, them on the rock and having a beach date, them going grocery shopping, them healing!!! I'm loving EVERYTHING so far, just hoping that all the storm can go by quickly and that they can heal soon 😭

Well, it's clearly not people who are in their right minds + this blatant racism is insane...the drama's actually doing very well on the Mainland China side and many people are eating up this CP like crazy!! Damn, the whole wedding sequence was so damn good. Omg. The tension was so crazy!!! Also, I love how they made Chenyi and Miaojing get through the red "Fate Web". The symbolism is quite insane: having to overcome every obstacle to find their way to each other 😭 ABSOLUTE CINEMAAA.

Also, looking at the airing schedule, what does the pic of a woman indicate for ep 24? Don't tell me it's her mum or something....I hope not. High chance we could get the express on Monday if they plan to air ep 26 and 27 on Sunday!! But then again, I don't wanna imagine how life will be once this all finishes 😭😭 Don't come so quickly!!

Help me. I wish I had Mainland China Mangotv cause damn. They're getting EVERYTHING 😩!!! The freaking angles for certain scenes - there's much more close ups which allow us to capture details much more clearer.
