I've got weibo, xiaohongshu, and douyin and believe me: It's making SO MUCH heat 🔥!! As far as I know, the drama is doing really well nationally, though I'm a bit limited to further knowledge as I'm a foreigner. But, I would say that this CP song weilong and zhang jingyi are so well loved both in the mainland and internationally. Their friendship and chemistry are really loveable - they're same-age costars and till this day, we're all talking about how perfect the casting is because they lowkey could pass as twins!! But aside from this, not even a week into it's airing time, and it's already making so much heat, topping the viewerships among other dramas and people are loving it :))

Same! ZJY is one of my fav actresses so I'm so happy to see her on screen again! And this time with SWL too is a bonus!! I love to see their same-age-friends interactions as well😆. Go Ahead was the drama that introduced me to cdramas so it's set the bar REALLY high from the beginning, and I wasn't able to watch any other projects of his until Shine On Me. But oh my goodness. I don't think anything can top this pairings chemistry!! I'm loving it so mucchhhh :))

The promotional contents they did today were so heartwarming!!! We have SWL being the biggest voice for ZJY's birthday wishes and ZJY once again doesn't need her mic (he continues to pass his onto her)!! Gosh, I wish time could remain this way for much longer!!

exactlyyyyy!! LFY is currently the only one I seem to stick with the most. It's hooked me in from even just the first few eps, and I guess it's because I've been waiting for SWL + ZJY pairing for just too long 😭😭!!

Competition I would say is the biggest factor. Aired on different platforms at the same time, so the two dramas are bound to clash - well, that's what the two platforms are wanting. But then again, it just kinda benefits SWL as he's getting more exposure. But then that also means that he may be conflicted in his schedule

Just have to say: We were fed so much chemistry, interactions, and content today!!! The offline event and the 2 live streams!! And it's Jingyi's birthday tomorrow, so I'm so happy and glad she's surrounding by the whole team for her special day and that she was able to receive lots of warm early-birthday wishes from the cast and fans!! We're not even halfway through the eps, and I already know there'll be absolutely NO moving on from them ever. ZJY and SWL I beg you, I beg casting directors - GET THESE TWO ANOTHER PROJECT TOGETHER!!!

No same!!!! I feel too empty to not have anything else to watch so I've been repeating the same eps over and over again. I mean, at least I'm able to catch all the angles and details I may have missed😭

Shut up. This ruined my whole day 😭!!! Like, it was already well expected and foreshadowed that something really bad was gonna happen to them, but this. This just killed me. Especially with how motherly she was towards the two. Omg. I'm ending it here😭😭!!! This is so sad!!!

I would just say - they toned down each of the characters and the storyline a lot, which I think is better. And if they kept everything like these scenes, it would definitely NOT pass the censorship and the project could have been scrapped entirely. For me, I feel like the drama is trying to achieve the most realistic approach, and I prefer it this way - probably cause of how crazy the novel was.

Honestly, if they had released 2 eps today, it would've somewhat made up for those very sudden cuts at the beginning of ep 11.

BUT. Guys, trust. They will definitely use this abrupt cutting to their advantage (I'm being delulu so that I can hope for the best). If they can execute it well, I won't complain. What I mean is: I hope they are able to expand on the situation and provide flashbacks to what happened back then. The transition from miaojing in front of her computer to her at the scene of the fire was lowkey kinda peak - it was quite smooth, so that's one thing I'll praise. However, I'm sure they will expand on this situation more. Especially since we still have some scene-gaps that they haven't yet shown us eg. miaojing hitting a garage door (?) with a chair, and wanting them to open the door (which I believe is a scene from the past, shown in some teasers) ---> UNLESS, they cut that out too.....which would be such a shame because ZJY's acting was so good!! Then again, they're adapting the novel very well so far: starts childhood days, then to adult w/ full of flashbacks - and that's how you adapt the novel!

Like I said, if they're able to do it well, I won't complain. Yes, that switch from her at her computer, to the fire, to her being shooed off - it was very quick and abrupt. But I hope they know what they're doing and don't leave any plotholes or anything, because this drama is so peak, and I hope it doesn't get ruined by poor editing or censorship problems 😭

I'm glad they were able to compile the earlier years within 10 eps, because I'm ready to see everything unravel and for secrets to be revealed. Give me the angst, jealousy, and 'push and pull', but please let them be happy for once!!

Can I just say: I love this community so much. I rarely ever encounter toxic people on this page and I love how we collectively love and appreciate the drama for what it is and support the actors with so much love and respect. Props to the team for putting so much effort into this drama. Maybe it's cause of how common it's been for me to see people on mdl pages clashing and hating on one another, but what a pleasing site to see the Love For You community getting along and suffer with one another as we wait for the new eps to release :)))
