Just wanted to put it out there (especially for people claiming that SWL and ZJY's chemistry is apparently awkward in these scenes): they were only like a week (if not, less) into filming the drama when they had to film this kiss in ep 10, as far as i can remember, and the one on the rock. The whole sequence that was filmed on the beach (them walking through the sand, dancing, sitting the rock) - it was all done VERY early into the filming days. The fact that their chemistry is still FUMING and insanely close even during these early days is so beautiful. I remember watching them both attend an event together just a few days after being announced as leads and ofc, you could see they weren't yet familiar with one another, but what can you expect from same-age cast members? They will instantly form a bond so quickly. Well just to put it out there: say all you want, but I think this may just be my fav pairing for both of them, and I'd say that them being the same age makes it better :)))

No same, I feel you. Looking at the cast and characters, it seems like chenyi will probably have some sort of situationship with this other girl and miaojing may have someone who's interested in her (from her company or something??), but I really hope things get wrapped up quick. Sure, jealousy - I'm here for it, from both sides. But I genuinely hate love triangles so much!! Just want these two to have only one another to care about - I sound selfish, but the drama has made me be this way!!!

When chenyi overhears miaojing talking about her crush (HIM), why did he take off his watch? Sorry, I'm like rewinding everytime I watch in order to try and capture details and make my own inferences, but I'm a little confused by this action - is it to kinda suggest him 'lifting off the mask' that he puts on when 'performing' in front of those company people? Is it to show how miaojing is his soft spot and just having her be around the environment he's being put it makes him vulnerable as he doesn't want her to get involved?

I'm lowkey just doing whatever I can to kill time because wdym there's still 15 hours left till ep11, and we only get 1 ep per day starting tomorrow too 😭😭

omg stop. I just realised 😭😭!!!!! WHY ARE THEY CUTTING OUT THESE SCENES!!!! So far, it's been the hug after he puts her bracelet on for their 'graduation bracelet ceremony', and now it's the piercing her ears (which is originally part of the novel)......why tease us for so long and include these clips in trailers, just to cut it istggggggg 😡!!!!

I've got the svip so it's already out for me, but I'd expect kh to load it soon, though it does seem to be a bit slower than usual.....

The more and more I replay the first few minutes of ep 10, the more I grow so fond of everything this drama has given. It was such a beautiful sequence. I'm such a big empath and have cried every ep so far because of just how deeply emotional I am for their situation. Their first kiss was executed so well and I have to praise the director for how well he filmed this whole sequence. Idk, I think I'm just diving way too deep into the aesthetics and story itself, but that first kiss scene was so perfect. And damn, their ACTING had me feeling so many emotions. You could literally feel the longing, yearning, and tension through the screen. You could feel their desperation to stay together (like always).

Now, this just leaves me depressed because wdym after all this progress to get a little bit of sunshine, they're gonna get separated.....😩 Like, yes, bring on the adulthood/present scenes, bring on the 'push and pull' era, but let them be happy soon!!!

no offense, but any other official poster that the team have posted is MUCH more applicable and better suited for the MDL official cover than this one.....why'd they have to change it?? The poster with the two touching cheeks with the bandaids was by far the best. I haven't seen any sites or streaming platforms that use this current one. Even just changing it back to the first poster is better. No hate to this photo, but any other poster could do better and bring in more viewers - especially since they somewhat actually MIRROR what the drama's about

on ep per day from tomorrow till further notice 😔. But hey, WE'RE gonna get 2 lives from the cast tomorrow!!! At least we're getting fed something!!!

teasers for ep 9 and 10 seem to be the ice breaker for what's soon to come - especially for ep 10. I'm too sucked into this drama to let it run for a bit before picking it up and binging through the difficult parts and the separation, but I hope it comes quick and doesn't linger for too long. I just want these two to be happy for once 😩

stiff face where??? I've seen more emotions come out from his last two modern dramas + go ahead than many other cdrama actors (not to say he's ever been emotionless or anything, just that we can really witness his progress in acting in these roles). You can't tell me that he hasn't expressed anything but a 'stiff' face in portraying chenyi, cause that's a bold statement to make

I haven't read the novel, but I don't think so. Looking at the airing schedule, we're probably getting their separation in the next 2-3 eps so it would be out of the blue to have them get together before she leaves + she IS still in high school too and it seems that something may have happened to the company that chenyi works for so he has to 'force' her to hate him and leave. But I'm sure we're getting lots of angst and 'push and pull' after we return to the present when she comes back home

We're already getting so close to the separation, and they couldn't even give us at lease the hug😭😭

Ok I'm just getting through today's eps after saving them for later and in the scene where chenyi comes for the 'bracelet ceremony', am I tripping or like I vividly remember: they were supposed to hug after he put her bracelet on?? Am I hallucinating? Or were we just ROBBED of that hug....😭

I agree - I'm so glad the drama has toned down A LOT of this. Was planning to read the novel while they were still filming, but I'm glad I didn't because I really can't handle all this complexity. I'm glad the ML is more likeable and their relationship is shown more as a 'found family' than what a lot of these novel authors tend to present (which lowkey gives me the ick)

and the fact that we'll only be getting one ep per day after ep10 for the rest of the week is A CRIME!!

A MUST WATCH. When it comes to ratings, I wouldn't bet any trust on mdl or the average - they are inaccurate, especially considering how this site allows people to rate later eps that HAVEN'T even aired yet. The drama's really good, I'd highly recommend you try it :))
