That confession/kiss in Buzzer Beat is amazing, so passionate. And I don't mean hot, although it is. The reason it was so moving to me was the intense flood of conflicting emotions behind it, it didn't feel fake at all. The confession in Coffee Prince (is it just a coincidence that both scenes are really intense and well acted, and happen to include good kisses?) approaches the same level of genuine feeling, but I think Buzzer Beat wins.

The "I love you" bed scene in Pride is sweet, kind of bittersweet. Even more so if/once you realize what's coming and how transient that moment really is. But my favorite scene of that episode is when the walls all come down in Halu's kitchen. It's kind of like confession: part 1, at the height of the emotional intensity (and the soundtrack probably helps it out, too). Thanks for the article and the great highlights from some not-so-famous dramas!

No worries! Yeah, I don't have time to do them in a weekend now. That was mainly when I had to spend summer break far away from home, with nobody I knew in town...when I wasn't traveling, all I could do was study, go to the park, and the internet.
Yeah, you probably aren't missing too much :) I probably would never have tried Hana Kimi if my friend forced me to watch it, and by halfway through, I wanted to finish it, and by the end I liked it. It is something of an acquired taste, imo.

Yes, I do really like this one, even more! I especially love the top part, with the big, multi-colored hello next to Seto's picture! (that is him, right?) *applause!*
Ooh, that does sound like a really interesting research topic! Maybe when I finish my book on economics my Grandma gave me over break...
And no problem, it was just my simple, amateur opinion. But happy to help :)

Another thing that might help the pictures not get swallowed by the white, but still have a lot of open space: Since the photos have a lot of neutral and warm tones in them, if you somehow accented the page or text with a warm brown, yellow, orange, pink, etc., it could help draw out the colors in the pictures and help them compete against the white and blue. But I don't know if that would work, or how you could accent it without making it cluttered. And the color of the text is really nice and easy to read. And I don't know for sure if that would have the effect I'm seeing in my head. Sorry, I don't have any formal art training, so take what I said with a tablespoon of salt. But yeah, it looks really nice! I want to redo mine now :)

Ooh, shiny! I like the close up photos, and the size of them is nice too. I wonder what it would look like if you made it a little asymmetrical? Like, moved the first photo slightly to the left, and the 2nd to the right, etc, and maybe even wrapped the text a little? I like how you left some white space, but especially the bottom compared to the middle, there is a big contrast and looks a little empty. But the white is what makes the photos pop, so I guess it depends what you're going for.

Thank you for these recommendations. I read Mineko Iwasaki's autobiography, so I'm glad I know about the special know! The last one also looks good.

Probably I would like it, but I tend to avoid crowded places and Imagine a convention might be crowded.

No problem! I know life gets busy... Ooh, that sounds way easier than I was expecting! Thanks :)
Well, the times I've watched Kdrama, it was a love-hate relationship between me and how long it was. If the story's good it's nice that it lasts longer, but the suspense and frustrations also get dragged out. And I can't put something down once I've started it, and Jdramas are so much easier to finish in one weekend.
I had planned to avoid the remake, but someone I trust recommended it. It's decent, but I probably prefer the original. If you've seen that, you're probably not missing much? But that opinion is only based on 2.5 episodes.

Oh, cool! A convention sounds like fun. I guess I'm not really nerdy in the sense of liking video games and anime, but I have unconvential interests. And I'm somewhat of a history nerd. I guess it depends how you define nerdy?

I watched a lot last year, but recently I'm kinda busy. Maybe this summer :) Do you do other nerdy things, or is it mainly dramas?

Thank you for the add! Nice to meet you. You have been watching for 10 years? Wow! I hope I can say that someday.

Yes, I think Hana Yori Dango would be the first couple to pop into my head, but I guess my favorites would be Aki and Haru from Pride, and Hiro and Nao from Tatta Hitotsu no Koi. Thanks for the article, I enjoyed it!

Sorry! I forgot to reply >< No...that's a good question. I never really thought about it yet, because I don't even know how to get the pictures to show up there. That's a bad excuse though. I heard recently about that drama, but I'm on a Kdrama hiatus now (simply because they have too many episodes for my current schedule and attention span). I should add it to my list though. I just started the Hana Kimi remake, and so far I'm impressed. You probably have seen the original?
