Aw, sorry to hear that! I hope the problem gets resolved. I haven't even attempted watching dramas as background noise...maybe during spring break. There seem to be a few good options anyway.

I'm good too, but been too busy lately to watch much. Is there anything really good this season?

Kim In Hee from Personal Taste was a pretty awful second female lead. Bad for the same reasons Kang Hye Won is, but with exponentially multiplied evil.

When you have time, try out Coffee Prince. It's really funny! And thanks for the article, it's a good reminder that I should watch more Jang Geun Suk in my life. Love Rain and Mary Stayed Out All Night have been on my ptw list for too long.

Thanks for the article! I love the original Japanese version, and I've been trying to decide whether it's worth it or not to watch the 2011 remake, and now I think I'll give it a shot. Most people have very strong opinions about the various versions, so it's hard to get a balanced picture. Thanks for all the info.

What's your favorite drama with Eita (other than Lucky 7)? Yup, but I moved home in January. And then I was kind of lazy about changing everything.

It sounds like fun! And even if not comedy, Eita is one of the few actors I still enjoy watching, even if it gets kinda angsty.

Wow, I would totally have dropped it then, if I only liked the first part. Lucky Seven is on my ptw list. I was putting it off because I'm not crazy about Matsujun, and I don't really like detective dramas either...but it's a comedy? Then I should try it! Because I could use some more Eita in my life right now ;)

Ah, well yeah, it would be boring if you don't like romance. Then what part of this drama did you like? Since it is maybe the romantic jdrama I've seen...I usually watch comedies. But yeah, yay for happy, meaningful endings :)

Yay! Wasn't the ending wonderful? I liked that it wasn't a super depressing ending, but also they made you wait til the very very end for the happy ending. That made it more sweet and special for me. My favorite scene is where they take the boat at night around Yokohama bay. I want to do that so badly! But all the tour boats were booked months in advance when I was there. Someday, I hope.
